TV had no power. Power to most lights of so lights didn’t work. There was no offer to move to a different room.

The only good part was the person who checked us in. He was very friendly and efficient. Our towels were so thin and yellowed. There were coffee grounds in the coffee pot. They were out of coffee downstairs. It was just disgusting!

During the hottest spell in the area our room ac unit wasn’t working. Terrible night. Shouldn’t have had to pay.

The hotel was horrible. We arrived at 7pm to check in. The front desk person was no where to be found. Once we located her (she was cleaning rooms), she expressed her apologies and proceeded to tell us that 11 employees had been deported that day, the Hotel manager (that lived in the hotel) was sick with COVID and in her room and she had no one to help her. She checked us into our 2 rooms and gave us keys. One room had not been cleaned (it looked like a frat party had taken place in the room). We told the front desk about the situation and asked if she could have the room ready in two hours? She said yes. We left and walked to dinner. We returned three hours later to a vacuum sitting in the middle of our room, one bed was made, the other bed was not, the room was not cleaned. The bathroom towels had been changed however the bathroom had not been cleaned and no one was around to discuss the situation so we put the vacuum in the hallway and used the bed that had been made and went to sleep. UNACCEPTABLE!

I'm just a little floored by this review, particularly because I remember this stay. No, the manager does not have COVID. In fact, I personally spoke to one of you the next morning when I found out from the front desk staff that the room had not been properly cleaned, and not a single word of this narrative was given to me then. No we did not have eleven employees deported (???) I guess I'm mostly confused about this one because I only have one employee who was not born an American citizen, and she is a legally naturalized citizen. No one here is even deportable. Yes, for the rooms not to have been cleaned was unacceptable. But I'm really wondering where the rest of this account of the hotel is coming from.

Check in lady was very nice but exhausted because of understaffing. TV was stuck on one channel. Finger prints and smudges on everything. Cleanliness was so so but bathroom was okay. Had coffee pot in room but no water. No continental breakfast. Restaurant that was suppose to honor discount was closed. Most likely won't stay there again. Still feel bad for the lady at the check-in desk, she was doing her best with what she had to work with.

I'm very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. I will be addressing housekeeping on making sure they do a better job cleaning all of the surfaces of the room, including TV screens. The restaurant we offer the coupon for is a family run business and, while they are usually open, I understand that may not have been the case for a holiday morning. They are not affiliated with the hotel in any way, they have just worked with us to offer the discount. I'm a little confused that you say you had a coffee pot but no water? We have been assured we are getting some form of breakfast back. We are looking forward to it and hope it's not too much longer. Again, I'm sorry that you were dissatisfied with your stay.
