Advertised as the "New" Pioneer, I didn't see what was different from the "Old" Pioneer. The room seemed clean, but the building was run down. Wood peeling off of walkways. The room had no usual amenities such as a coffee maker, microwave, iron or ironing board. No refrigerator or hair dryer. It did have a heater and A/C unit. Also, shampoo, conditioner and soap. The employees were very friendly and helpful and I had a very good meal at the hotel restaurant. I must say the room was inexpensive and I didn't expect a lot, but I did expect a little more than I got. But, I did get a good nights sleep there. If you stay there, have low expectations!

Credit card machine was broken. We had to pay cash up front for our stay with no warning. Our room was a drive from the casino, didn't know it was so far away. No microwave. No coffee pot, no refrigerator, no hair dryer. Phone didn't work. Plugins didn't work. No maid service. Food poisoning from luke warm turkey dinner at Bumbleberry Flats. Otherwise it was ok!
