The reception staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are simply old and musty smelling but clean. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom but the coach had seen better days, the cushion was completely gone. The property is old as well, this hotel has been there forever and it shows. The rooms are non smoking but the residents have been in the casino and the casino smells repulsive. But that's what you get in a casino. We just can't deal with cigarette smell any more. Honestly you get what you pay for and the room was the cheapestroom they have. No extra amenities just a room. They don't want you hanging out in your room, they want you in the casino. In many years of going to Laughlin the Pioneer is the only property we had never stayed and now I know why.

The staff that helped us signed in was very nice! The rooms were okay; sadly there were some dead live insects, they looked like mosquitos but they were different to mosquitos I've seen. Most of the staff we had contact with were very nice.

It had signs up that limit people based on their vehicles and clothing. Very disrespectful and discrimination . Also unable to chech in due to not having a hard copy of my driver license. But had recent and copy on my phones. Will never attempt to stay tjere again

This property has potential. The beach areas can use a makeover and the restaurant needs to get rid of the buffet, it sucks. Also the rooms need upgrade. But overall its good for the price.
