"Nice conveniently located hotel"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our trip to Arizona. We got a smoking room and were surprised to find when we walked in that we had a living room area with a door that led to our bathroom. It was nice to have that extra space even though we didn't utilize it too much. We were on the second floor in the corner so we had privacy. There was never too much noise or disturbance. Our rooms were cleaned every day and there was a pool, jacuzzi, and even a little hotel bar and restaurant. The staff was nice and helpful and it was definitely worth the money we paid for

"Should finish the rehab before renting nice room"
Room very, very quiet, plenty of space, except by the new vessel sink. We got a good night's sleep before leaving on our trip, which was the goal. Negatives were the bathroom door that was not trimmed properly before being painted. It did not close all the way. Also the room was so freshly painted that the masking tape was completely covering the ceiling sprinkler heads. My traveling companion mentioned that she could still vaguely smell cigarette smoke in the room, I think from the pillows. Verdict, will return and will also feel comfortable booking at another Red Roof based on this stay.

"Hotel that Exceeded my Wildest Expectations"
I stay at a lot of high end hotels in the area when I come in to see my Mom. It serves as a way to treat myself as I work very hard as an executive at a construction company. It also serves as a retreat as my Mother is older and visiting can make for a long day as her memory is going and the visit requires a lot of patience and understanding. So I like to stay at a local hotel that can help me recharge and give my Mom my all while we visit during the day. Sorry to mention other hotels but for a point of reference I stay at the Biltmore, Phoenecian Hotel and various other nice hotels. A friend has been staying at the Princess since she was a young girl and raved about it for years so I figured why not give it a try. To my pleasant surprise - your hotel BLEW ME AWAY. From the valet, to check in, to the restaurant service and even the maid service - EVERYONE was friendly. Once I was in an area and one person knew my name then everyone who addressed me said "How is your day going Mr. Hays?" "May I get you anything Mr. Hays?" The hotel has a classic design while having modern amenities - Fantastic, Fabulous and a hotel I plan on coming to again and again on my future visits to the Phoenix area - THANK YOU FOR A FANTASTIC STAY!

Downtown Phoenix Hotel & Travel Guide

Dry desert air wraps you in a hug as you stare out at vast expanses of unfettered terrain. A tumbleweed blows in the distance, while you feel a sudden calling to hike Camelback Mountain. You answer by putting on your tennis shoes and heading out with water bottle in hand, ready to have an epiphany at the peak while the clouds dance just overhead. Feeling parched, you head back down to the city and visit a local watering hole for good company and a cold beer. You’re in Phoenix, Arizona.

Like a bird rising from the ashes, PHX appears seemingly out of nowhere. One minute you’re driving through miles upon miles of empty desert real estate, and the next a vision of skyscrapers starts to take shape in the distance. Before long, you’re smack dab in the middle of a thriving metropolis, where top-notch shopping venues meet fine cuisine and family-friendly water parks. Book downtown Phoenix hotels, like the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, and you’re never far from the best of the Valley of the Sun.

Head to Rawhide Western Town (free to visit) and wander past real blacksmiths and shooting galleries on your way to Wild West shows. When you get a hankering for dinner, a stagecoach ride to the steakhouse will put you right. Over at Cave Creek, an old gold mining camp, you can ride horses into the sunset. Oh, to trot toward a tangerine sky. This is the life.

Just east of the city, your journey into the west of yore continues. At the Mining Camp Restaurant & Trading Post, sink your teeth into a family-style meal. As the barbecue sauce eases its way down your fingers, you will appreciate the goodness that comes from comfort food.

Whether you want to embrace the skyline of urban PHX or seek the solitude of quiet desert trails, booking cheap hotels in downtown Phoenix is the right start to your vacation.
