Does the resort fee include towels in your room?

Absolutely terrible. Got to the room there was not a single towel. Not a hand towel, nothing. I called the front desk and after a wait we were given 3 towels for the 4 of us and still no hand towels. Called again to get 4th towel and hand towel. Never came. The staff could care less. Front desk staff looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there. Cleaning people acted annoyed we asked. Elevators take forever and made scary noises like they were going to fail at any time. Only 2 elevators for a very large building of at least 10 stories. There is not enough parking and the overflow parking is accross the street out of view in a sketchy looking parking lot. Do not stay here. Only positive is the location on the ocean.

Very clean and close to everything.

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Other than what was mentioned above would be the lack of parking.
Location: Wonderful
There were a couple of disappointments. The TV wouldn't work without the assistance of maintenance and that department was unavailable from the hours of 9pm to 6am, which was kind of an inconvenience considering I have small children that usually like watching TV to sleep. And lastly when I went downstairs I had to use the stairs and there was a man passed out in the stairwell from intoxication in a manner I thought to be Scarry. Other than that it was a good stay.

Rooms are dirty, old and in need of maintenance badly. The shower was broken and flooded the room every time u used it and the door to the room was also broken along with the dressers and beds. Do yourself a favor and say NO to ocean breeze hostel. The staff that works there in the office are mean and nasty people who act like it is a pain to get u towels and washcloths that should be in ur room already and replaced everyday. This hotel needs to be tore down and rebuilt from the bottom up. Also bums sleeping outside around where our vehicles are parked and taking baths inside the pool area!! This is the worst place we have ever stayed at!!

Thank you for your feedback. We are currently undergoing a lot of changes in our hotel. We will be renovating toward the end of this year. We offer a lot of amenities and wonderful customer service to our guests. I do apologize for your dissatisfaction and if you ever find yourself back in the Daytona Beach area we would love to have you back and make sure your stay is better than before!

Horrible hotel room with even worse parking

Pros: Our room was an ocean view room and was directly on the beach.
Cons: The rooms need updated and maintained.
Location: There were plenty of places to eat and things to do nearby.
We stayed at this hotel as a last minute over night trip in Daytona Beach. When we arrived at the hotel where there was no parking what so ever to check into the hotel, we had to block in other cars. We proceeded to wait in line in the lobby for 20 minutes before we decided to come back after eating dinner. We came back after an hour and still had to wait in line for 25 more minutes before we could check in. We got to our room, where the door looks as if it has been kicked in and barely stays locked, even with the deadbolt on it. There was a 2 in gap at the bottom of the door between the door and the carpet. The toilet didn't work, we had to call maintenance to come and fix it. There also was only 1 shower towel for 3 people and 0 wash clothes and hand towels. It took maintenance and house keeping 40 minutes before they arrived with anything. The room was in horrible shape, there was a painting missing off the wall but the hooks and a slight hole in the wall were still there. There was a hole behind the entertainment stand, the entertainment stand was also missing handles on it. We then recieved a phone call at 3:15 a.m. telling us that our vehicle's window was down and it was raining. We walked to the parking lot, which is a block away, in the pitch black to find our windows up. I stopped in the lobby to ask the clerk about it, she said it was a white car. Our car is NOT white and none of the information matched our actual vehicle.

Do not recommend to anyone

Pros: The man the worked in the restaurant/lounge & the man that was the chef which came out to make sure our food was ok,both were very nice & professional
Cons: Parking, more people to help w/check in,I saw over 20 people waiting on Saturday afternoon trying to get checked in to their room
Location: Location was good which is why we stayed there. We had been to Daytona many times before & knew this was close to where we wanted to be,one good thing
Check in time was 4:00,we arrived at 3:50,after waiting in line behind 2 people for 30 min(which was now well after 4:00) was told the room wasnt ready, the girl said she would give me a call as soon as it was,at 5:45 I finally called after never hearing from anyone & was told it was ready. When we get in the room(a double) the only thing on the beds were 2 sheets & a thin blanket so we called the front desk & asked for comforters & was told that what was all we would get.The last night we were there we went out for New Years,we came in around 1:00 am to find there were no parking places left at the hotel or across the street in the over flow, there was a very rude lady sitting in a car at the over flow when we pulled in telling us it was full,I asked her where we were supposed to park, she said go ask the man at the front desk,so we did.He in turn told us he didnt know what to tell us other than we could park in entrances(which would block other people) I told him I was driving a rental car so if I have to park somewhere that leaves it in a place to be potentially hit or towed was the hotel gonna cover it since they couldnt give me a safe place to park,he said no that would be my problem. So we go back out and are standing by the car trying to decide what to do when the rude lady from the over flow comes stomping up to us saying we couldnt park where we were, our exchange of words became heated & she stomped back off.The next morning there were cars parked all over blocking others

Amazing view

Couldnt beat the price with the amazing view from this hotel. We stayed for 6 nights, the first 4 were amazing...the last 2 we were woken up from the construction happening on the building. I didnt complain, because i understand that the building needed updating...but 7:30 in the morning!! We were on vacation, no getting up that early!! Overall, the staff was great and accomodating, highly recommend once the construction is complete!!

Absolute WORST hotel that I have ever stayed in.

The hotel was so bad that we left a day early. There were roaches in the rooms (the room next to mine had this problem too), construction starting early in the morning, and to top it off, they lost electricity and only one lamp in the room was working. the elevators were down and we had to carry all of our luggage down five flights of stairs. The staff was incredibly rude and little patience for complaints regarding these issues. Thank goodness we live close enough to Daytona that we were able to drive home and back there the next day. I feel sorry for the people who were not able to do the same.

It will be a nice hotel

Pros: The price, location
Cons: The elevators, the overall cleanliness of the rooms and hotel.
Location: It was close to everything so I could walk anywhere I needed to go. Great choices for restaurants
I didn't see the reviews that said that the property was under construction. So parking was extremely limited thankfully there was an overflow lot. The elevators were dirty and scary, the doors didn't always open on the right floor. The door to my room well asked the front desk twice to fix it but nothing ever happened. Also, not that they were used but both nightstands, were basically falling apart. And the bed was far from comfortable. But on the plus side there was a nice view.

Hotel okay but the parking is atrocious!

Pros: The hotel was clean and the pool area was nice. There was outdoor seating and a shaded area to sit. There were also bathrooms outside.
Cons: The parking situation and include a continental or hot breakfast.
Location: The hotel was located right on the beach which makes it fun. There were restaurants close by so we were happy.
The hotel and its amenities were fine. They were remodeling so the exterior looked rough on the ocean side. Understand there is NO breakfast...for the price we paid, there should have been breakfast or continental breakfast included. The parking was very very limited. There were a very few parking spaces and they were very very tight with little backing room.
