There was blood on the door of the bathroom that had been there for days, chicken bones in the elevator and elevator was broken entire time had to use stairs

I stayed at Hilton Daytona for my graduation celebration, and I was honestly expecting much more based on my experiences with other Hilton properties. Unfortunately, the room felt very outdated — almost stuck in time. The furniture and decor looked old, and there was no proper seating area in the room, which was disappointing for a hotel at this level. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and both bathroom sinks had slow drainage issues. The bathtub also drained slowly. Additionally, the closet was broken, and the refrigerator did not cool properly. The AC was not functioning consistently, which made the room uncomfortable at times. In the South Tower, only 2 out of 4 elevators were working, causing delays and inconvenience throughout the stay. The only real highlight was the ocean view — that part was beautiful. Don Rico’s drinks were decent, and Hyde Park Restaurant was excellent, with great food and service — truly the best part of the experience. Overall, for such a special occasion, I expected better quality, maintenance, and comfort. There are definitely better and more affordable options nearby. I would recommend visiting Daytona Beach, but staying somewhere else.

The room was very poor condition and the manager said ther we're in the process of scheduling a full renovation and they apologized. Just one of many unpleasant issues was taking a shower and then having to wash my feet because water was up to my ankles because tub wasn't draiing end of my shower. I can go on with more unpleasant issues but rather not. I did express how very much I was satisfied with the staff and the rest of the hotel. Thank you for your concern.

No luggage carts available no ice machine nearby so you have to order via hotel phone and good luck with that, over an hour to check-in. Since once again no luggage carts or bell boys, their excuse all carts in use.

The room was okay, but really needs some attention. The good parts of the room include the beach view, a door that opens for ocean air, and it was quiet. The sheets and towels were all clean. However, the curtains were shredded and wouldn't close completely, the closet door was broken, and the furniture was scuffed up.
