Just expect a little more.

On the positive, it is a beautiful hotel, and we stay here whenever in Clayton. On the negative...Not sure if it is a seasonal thing, but the amenities could stay open a little later. A premium price should mean premium service(s), not just because you are the only show in town. To be fair, our waitress at breakfast was delightful.

Place was pretty with friendly staff; room was decorated nicely; however, furniture was incredibly uncomfortable. Also, there was NO coffee maker in the room, they did serve coffee in the hallway at 6:30am, but for someone who gets up at 5am this was a BIG minus.

We had continuous issues with being charged the incorrect amount and it took three different people to fix it over the course of days. In the meantime we were told not to worry about it and that it would be fixed, and it continuously wasn’t. We had ants in our room and reported it and nothing was done about it other than to put some bait, and the room was very dusty. I’m not one to notice a little dust but there were visible layers of it on the lamps and surfaces and when my phone fell on the floor and I picked it up there was dust all over it. It was definitely not worth the price and I recommended avoiding.
