Lake Home in Chapin

Very cute and cozy little lake home right on the lake with private dock. It was so nice. Loved the shower, lol and cozy beds

Not up to expectations

The pictures look great, the reality is the property needs work. The beds were clean and comfortable. The windows facing the lake need to be replaced as the vacuum seals leaked and are all dirty in the inside (uncleanable as we tried). 3 of the 6 shades on said windows are broken, blocking the view you paid for. The toaster was busted. The lawn needed to be cut. A bush at the bottom of the deck stairs had to be walked through to use the stairs. The deck itself is old and needs to replaced. The front entrance has a board that's rotted out. The dock has a bucket on it with trash in it. Pretty sure the way the hot water heater is wired would be a code violation. We've rented many homes over the years and this one was the first time we walked in and discussed leaving for a hotel.

A-Frame vacation home

My 6yr old grandson thought the A-frame house was the best of all the bigger and newer house around us. Was a few problems but contact person got back with us right away and fixed problems.

Great location

We really enjoyed our trip. The deck and dock was perfect for relaxing and the sunrises were beautiful. The house could use a little updating but overall it fit our needs perfect. My mom (82) doesn’t use stairs so we put her on the main floor. The kitchen had everything we needed for a nice weekend stay.
