The house itself was lovely—spacious, comfortable, and well suited for our group. Unfortunately, the property management experience through Vacasa was very poor and impacted our stay.We never received check-in instructions prior to arrival and had no door code. After messaging through the app with no response, I spent over 40 minutes on hold with customer service before finally receiving a partial code with no additional instructions.On the first night, we discovered water running across the living room floor and under the sofas. The cause was an overflowing bucket of DampRid placed in a corner. There were no cleaning supplies available. I contacted management immediately through the VRBO messaging system with a detailed explanation. Although I was eventually told someone would come to address it, no one ever did, and the issue remained at checkout.There were no check-in or check-out instructions in the house. Wi-Fi was listed as available with instructions to contact the host for the password; after another long wait with customer service, we were told there was no Wi-Fi. Messages through the app were slow, generic, and often unrelated, including a welcome message sent on the wrong date.We also encountered a clogged bathroom sink but did not report it, as prior issues had gone unresolved.I feel the owners may not be aware of how poorly the property is being managed. The home itself is wonderful; Vacasa’s lack of responsiveness and communication was disappointing.
