This motel is easy to reach from I-5 and only a few blocks from a part of Vancouver that has lots of cool shops and restaurants. Only about 10 minutes north of Portland, and also from the airport, it has become my preferred place to stay when I have business in or near Portland. Moreover, front desk staff has been helpful and courteous.

The stay was horrible. When we first checked in our keys didn't work and we were on the 4th floor. It took 4 trips down to the lobby to finally get the both keys working without someone being locked out. The room was old and worn-dirty windows, curtain with broken fixtures. Then the cleaning staff used such toxic chemicals in the hall that my wife had an allergic reaction affecting her face. I was even affected and I'm not that sensitive. The staff at the lobby was less than helpful. We were shown several other rooms and found one that was tolerable. They didn't help us move our things, didn't comp us in any way for the terrible physical harm or incredible inconvenience. We will never return the Comfort Inn!

The room was nice, bed was comfortable, and pillows included good options for comfort levels. There was a good variety of breakfast choices. Sad that the Travelocity website didn't note that the pool was only open seasonally. We chose this location for the pool and location.
