Interesting that items like body lotion are no longer available in rooms. Also, you have to request daily housekeeping, which is fine as I don't need my bed made by someone each day. It would be nice, however, to have amenities such as coffee pods refilled each day without having to specifically request.

Facilities, amenities, location, and overall value were great. I will likely book again, BUT the staff was not friendly and really put us off as a bit rude. The bar tender, manager, and pool maintenance guy were helpful and friendly. The check in clerk, hostesses, and wait staff were rude and unfriendly (even behind the manager's back). Potential for a great resort with a little attitude change.

We arrived late at night, but the hotel did not have the type of room we reserved available. Even though we got a lower-tier room we paid the same price (with an offer of a free breakfast, which we never got.) Upon getting to the room we realized it was on the second floor and there was no elevator. Not the biggest problem but had I known ahead of time I would have asked for a ground level floor since we had heavy luggage and equipment that had to be carried up the flights of stairs. The room itself was large, but there were clear signs that pets had stayed in it and their messes had not been cleaned up properly, more like just smeared around on the carpeting. The location might be worth staying but I would have liked to know about these issues before booking. Just a heads up!

One of our best stays ever!
Absolutely loved our stay at the Riverhouse Lodge. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The view from our room was lovely and sitting on the patio watching the river flow was a delight. Our 11 year old daughter loved it and didn't want to leave. We can't wait to go back next year.

The common areas of the hotel were dirty- especially our building- the stairs and hall were filthy and smelled terrible like a lot of pets had been in there. The fire/smoke alarm in our went off at 8am for no reason- piercing sound, happened 4 times and then stopped. The telephone in our room did not work- could not call the front desk. The room smelled old. The kitchen could not get our breakfast order right at the restaurant but were kind and did not charge for the meal they completely messed up. Great location on the river but they should try to keep the buildings cleaner and smelling better. The wear definitely shoes in the room and it was well over $500 for one night- Friday July 19th. Definitely not worth that money.

We stayed in a second floor suite. The interior furnishing are some what dated. The size of the bathroom for a suite was just ridiculous. It should have been much larger and the size of the room could have easily accommodated that. The restaurant was excellent. But the room and the lack of enforcement of the no smoking policy made this tay tough. The grounds were nice wi the rive running below. Given the rate we paid for the suite , I would have expected a sink in the great room area and at least a double sink. The bath shower combination felt like it dated from the 60's.

We booked a last minute one night stay at Riverhouse Lodge House just to rest and head back to Idaho. The premises was beautiful, we booked a river view room. It was costly $351 plus $30 resort fee plus $40 pet fee, wich we had no problem paying that amount since there hotel was rated a 4 star, the river was beautiful, the location was excellent. The biggest down fall was that our river view room was full of dust and spider webs, the sink in the bathroom had a big crack , was afraid we were gonna get charged for that, the other xtra sink in the room was clogged n water didn’t drain, the smoke detector was missing and wires hanging all over, over all I thought the premises was absolutely beautiful, but for the price we paid one night, we expected the rooms to be better. The lobby in the hotel was extremely hot n muggy , no AC and it was 105 outside, only way to cool it was the river , other than all the issues we encountered, we really loved the hotel but was very disappointed after paying close to $400 a night.
