We are really not ones to complain, but with a 5 star resort we truly expected better. Most of the issues we complained about have not gotten better. Night one, the bed was dirty. There was hair all over the bed and in between the sheets, as well as pink & orange colored stains all over two of the sleeping pillows. As you can see, our curtain is still not fixed. We cannot close our curtain completely. We are not getting the privacy we deserve, because our curtain won’t completely close. We reached out about this on day 1 and was told it would be taken care of immediately. Immediately never came for us. Also, we seen two roaches in our room on day two, sent pictures of those. We also complained about our mirror being dirty on days 1&2 of our stay which never got addressed. Everyone that we’ve spoken to on the staff says it’s unacceptable, but yet it was never addressed. We shouldnt have to deal with previous guests filth. Also, we did not receive our amenities that we requested when we booked our room. We did not receive our 2 bottles of liquor that were requested prior to our arrival. Also, we are celebrating my fiancés birthday, this trip was supposed to be all about her so We requested the room be decorated for her birthday and it wasn’t. later on she expressed to me that she did not feel special and birthdays are very important to her. It broke my heart hearing her say that after months of planning & anticipating this trip. We asked to speak with manager but never could

Mirror was dirty upon arrival, we requested that this be cleaned because it looked like the previous guest flossed their teeth and left gunk behind. This never got cleaned by the way.
Night one we took a picture of the curtain & sent it to the butler. 1 to let them know that we did not do this, & 2 to let them know that we could not close the curtains all the way, and we were concerned about our privacy. This also was never fixed

The spa massage was very good but the music system was disruptive because it was going off and on making a scratching sound. No Zen. The glass doors of the buildings and pool were smuggled and dirty. Most disturbing was the cleanliness of the room hallways. Housekeeping was not vacuuming and picking up trash in the hallways of our room. Also someone cut themselves and blood was left on the ping ping table. I am a nurse for my county and that disturbed me as a health professional that it was not cleaned up immediately. Now on the family side, my neice was touch inappropriately buy a man and the management handled it poorly. It was not safe on the family side. All in all our room was beautiful and the TRS side was wonderful in spite of the cleanliness but that is very important for patrons. The transportation was great and my husband and I had a good time. There was loud drilling/ construction right by our room, nonstop, so much for a private pool. If you miss making a dinner reservation, you are out of luck. We were sent to a romantic dinner at “Nest.” It was embarrassing sitting next to a candy shop and a daycare. I got cold coffee for breakfast and heard a loud static noise from the radio. The reservation made at the front desk was a failure. There was nothing VIP about it. Chic was probably the best part.

First time to Cancun, really enjoyed the atmosphere of the resort given it was slower season when we went! The room was very clean and the resort was not busy at all. The entire resort was very easy to navigate. Their butler system also very handy if you have any questions. Love the spa, probably one of the best spa I’ve been to. The entire stay was very relaxing. Would stay again for sure.

The only thing I didn’t like was that we had to make reservations for dinner, and we didn’t get the chance to try the restaurants we would have liked to. Since they were already booked days in advanced. We were there for 4 days and I would have liked to have the opportunity to try the restaurant I was interested in. We basically got whatever was left over. That’s my only complaint but other than that it was all perfect. :)

TRS Corral was incredible! Highly recommend! Cristopher and Misa were so kind and attentive as our butlers! Also Ivan was an incredible waiter and made the most amazing drinks! Caesar as well at capricho was such a good and hilarious waiter! I Cannot wait to come back! Thank you TRS for such an amazing experience and vacation!

Fue nuestra 4ta visita y muy diferente de las ocasiones anteriores; anunciamos de nuestra celebración de aniversario en la reserva por Expedia, enviamos un email a los mayordomos, lo comentamos en recepción en el check in y no tuvieron ni una gentileza de un simple plato de frutas de bienvenida, eso le resta a la calidad del servicio. En años anteriores estaba incluido el hidromasage, el Cabaret Chic, ahora estas bondades son con cargo extra, antes regalaban una botella de algún licor a elegir, ahora ni te lo comentan los mayordomos, el hotel se mantiene cuidado y la comida y bebida en general sigue siendo muy buena pero quedamos muy incómodos con estos inconvenientes

Overall we really enjoyed the property, the grounds and ambiance were spectacular. Generally the service was excellent, although we had a couple small hiccups with slower service. There was a variety of food choices. Overall the food was good but not great. I recommend the Chic and Bravo dinner experiences. The talent was awesome, and although both cost extra they are worth it! We did have to search out Bravo. It’s new and I don’t think they were promoting it enough. It wasn’t available in the app, and my wife just happened to notice it as we were exploring the “mall” area. We stayed on the “adult only” side, and it was much busier than the family side (most likely because of the time of year we stayed). We ended up using more of the family side, since we were looking for something a little more quiet. The adult side was great if you’re looking for a party atmosphere, or just want to people watch.
