"I had a very pleasant stay at the Dann Carlton Panama City. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and it is clear that the property is being cared for and maintained. Although some carpets are not new, they were clean, and we were told they are already scheduled for renovation. The lobby and restaurant areas have been completely renovated, while the rooftop pool and gym are also awaiting upgrades. This does not feel like a neglected property at all, but rather a hotel that is actively being improved and seems to maintain a consistently high occupancy. The location is excellent, in the heart of Panama City's financial district, with beautiful views from its hilltop position. Free parking was very convenient for us. The room was clean, well finished, and comfortable. We had a minor issue with the bathroom lock, but maintenance fixed it the following day. Breakfast was quite complete, although I felt it could use more protein options. Room service portions were generous, although one order took a long time and arrived cold. For the price we paid, however, the value for money was excellent. My only other criticism is the strong fragrance used in the lobby. It is unnecessarily intense and could be uncomfortable for guests who are sensitive or allergic to fragrances. Aside from that, we felt very well taken care of and would happily stay again."
