The staff at the AC Hotel Panama City were excellent—very kind and professional. Unfortunately, the hotel itself didn’t meet Marriott standards. The breakfast was average, and the area outside didn’t feel very safe. We even found a roach in the bathroom, which was unacceptable. The staff gave a $60 credit, but that was nothing for an issue like that. They also said they couldn’t help further because we booked through Expedia, which makes me think using Expedia isn’t the best option if you can’t get proper refunds. The gym was very limited, not like what’s shown online. Great staff, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The gentleman Moses at the bar was very pleasant. The manager Ilian (not sure if thats how you spell his name) and Leo were amazing! I’d definitely recommend this hotel as it is near to everything.

I checked in the hotel at around 10:00 AM on October 14th and the suite wasn’t ready so I left my bags behind the counter and there was a new girl behind the counter that was a very rude person and didn’t treat my friend very nice who also gets a suite when we travel to Panama,I don’t have her name but she was heavy set and wasn’t very nice to the rest of the staff there either as we witnessed it everyday we was there.

It was a good stay overall. However, on day 1 the room was dusty so my allergies acted up but it seemed fine for the remaining days. The staff was pleasant & catered to my needs. The AC was functioning well. Lastly the breakfast needed more options. Everyday was pie, bread, cheese fruits. Stayed at other Marriott & different days had different food.

I had a comfortable stay, the faculities are nice and the staff are equally nice. I stayed 5 nights and my only complain is that though the breakfast had a number of options, it was the same thing every morning and the vegatarian options are limited. But a person without restrictions would love everything :) The location is also really good too. Ill be back

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Service was really good. The hotel isnt large, which makes guess traffic less and it was easy to get around the hotel. The pool and gym were a plus. The AC in the room gets too cold without the option to turn up too much. The breakfast was good, but options limited, especially for vegetarians and vegans.

Hi, im a marriot member. My stay here was nothing short of amazing Leo at the front desk was impecable, he gave suggestions for eats, shopping and ensured all of our needs were met in a timely fashion. He speaks english fluently. Alex and the pool was also amazing and super helpful. The bartender i never got his name was so plesant and accomdating The food served for lunch and dinner was so delicious, i would opt out of breakfast. The pool area breath taking. Drinks and food are served by the pool. My issus was the cleaning service. They cleaners had to be asked every single day if they were coming, a reqiest and complaint was made. No wash towel in the room we had to call down almost daily and it so long just to get them. Other than this i highly recommend.

The bathroom def need to be cleaner. My shower leaked into the floor of the bedroom. The Girls that wked in the kitchen bar area on Sunday 9/28/25 refused to heat my my leftovers. I didn't see an issue as a courtesy to a customer since there were no microwave on property. The desk staff on all shifts were nice and helpful and location was Central. Easy to move around..Loved the pool and lobby area
