My recent stay at Rui Plaza Panama was a nightmare The pool was out of service without any advance notice to guests . On day 3 the 33rd floor was flooded due to a major pipe burst. There was no running water for 24 hours ; couldn't take a shower or even flush the toilet. There was a very pungent smell throughout the hallway due to the flooded floor. I booked a suite, and the room was substandard from what I paid for There was black mold in the shower tile, the hand dryer was filthy and there were cracks on the tub. The hotel manager claimed that there is nothing she can do and gave out the complaints department email for follow up. After contacting the complaint department . I got an AI generated response apologizing for my unhappiness with my stay at Rui Plaza in Panama and is looking forward to my next visit. What a joke! I will not recommend anyone to use this hotel. There is no accountability and don't treat guests as valued customers. For my next vacation I would use Marriott or the Hilton hotels. They treat their guests with respect unlike Rui Plaza.

This hotel is in a great location. It has a great breakfast, Many on staff speaks English. The staff is very professional and helpful. My one critique is that one of the criteria I used for choosing a hotel was whether it had a pool. Upon arrival, I discovered that the pool was closed for renovation. This should have been posted on the website.

I really enjoyed my stay, the staff was pleasant, the location is ideal. Check-in and checkout was a breeze, very easy. The only issue I had was the elevator ( long wait, sometimes crowded), but that didn’t ruin my time there. My favorite thing was the breakfast ( large variety, tasted amazing)
