"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Inverness and had a really positive experience. Julie at the front desk made check‑in super easy and was very patient and helpful with all of our questions. "We arrived and was told our room number. It was 150. We walked in and smelled an odor of mold. After inspection of said room we found black mold on the headboards, walls, bathroom and where the mini fridge and microwave are. We went to 3 other rooms. They all seemed to be better cleaned. However, we were not offered anything type of communication for our troubles. The best part of our stay was Denny's, the pool and the bar."

"All staff members were helpful, friendly and professional. A very good restaurant onsite. Housekeeping was minimal. They came in emptied trash and took dirty towels. Our new clean towels were left at our door in a clear plastic bag. Pool area was nice. Bed was uncomfortable and bathroom was not upgraded with poor plumbing fixtures and toilet. Hot, cold water plumbing in sink was reversed. Property is old and in process of some updates."

"Nice hotel, nice breakfast, great location and I have stayed there many times. The bad part is that they now charge for parking for the first time, which is ridiculous. You can park on the street or anywhere around the hotel for free. For some reason, with booking the hotel on Expedia, I was able to avoid the parking fees. When. I was checking out, the hotel clerk said, "I don't know how you avoided the parking fees!" And I said, "Good! See you later. " Then I left the hotel."

"The room was clean but there was no shampoo or conditioner so bring your own. The breakfast was better than most with good choices. The dining room was classy; comfortable seating, large room and nicely decorated."
