This property was great, had everything we needed. Full kitchen, plenty of space, and clean.
Several pools, beautiful resort. Did not like that they dont accept American Express. They are a resort and people come from all over the world, so they should accept American Express. That was the first time that has happened to us. Travelocity doesn't say anything about it either.

did not like the breakfast area, it was to small for the size of the hotel. breakfast did not have eggs, sausage like other surestay hotels by b w.. to much smoking outside of hotel rooms, a designated area would be better off to the side of rooms.

Located just 22 miles west of Orlando, Clermont, Florida, is a popular stopping point for vacationers. Not only is Clermont close to the sights and sounds of Orlando, but it also offers plenty of activities right in town. Whether you're standing on top of the Florida Citrus Tower or playing a round of golf, Clermont hotels provide a perfect launching point for your Central Florida vacation.
The best way to get to Clermont is by renting a car at Orlando International Airport. You could also take a cab, but Clermont rental cars are key for when you eventually head back to Orlando, since regular public transportation isn't available. Before doing that though, you need to hit up the sights and sounds near the hotels in Clermont. The first place to visit is the Florida Citrus Tower, which is the highest observation point in the state and gives you breathtaking views of the surrounding eight counties, hilly terrain, and orange groves. Right next door to the Citrus Tower is The Presidents Hall of Fame, which gives you a historical look at all 44 U.S. Presidents and a close look at a reproduction of Mount Rushmore. Clermont is also a great place to be outdoors, whether you want to relax or get active. Lake Louisa State Park and Lake Minneola have hiking trails where you can observe both flora and fauna, and you can also play a round of golf at one of the beautiful local golf courses. After checking out Clermont's best, head east into Orlando. You can ride movie-themed roller coasters at Universal Studios Florida or head over to Gatorland, where you can view hundreds of alligators and crocodiles and see some old-fashioned alligator wrestling. All of these Orlando sights are close to Clermont motels and cheap hotels in Orlando.
