"Location was fantastic. Right at the end of all the developed areas on the south Bank next to the eye of London. Easy to walk to the Waterloo neighborhood to get dinner. Very disappointed that there was no indication that the “ superior “ room that we booked had no exterior window. Not a dealbreaker. ..."

"Well, we chose this hotel because it’s conveniently located near the ferry, waterfront, and another side of London. Unlike typical hostels, we were given our own room. The room was comfortable, but the bed had a spiral mattress instead of a foam mattress, which we’ve never had since childhood. The ..."

Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge
"Location was fantastic. Right at the end of all the developed areas on the south Bank next to the eye of London. Easy to walk to the Waterloo neighborhood to get dinner. Very disappointed that there was no indication that the “ superior “ room that we booked had no exterior window. Not a dealbreaker. We still might have chosen the hotel. But we did spend quite a bit of money and would’ve expected at least an exterior window even with a mediocre view . But our window only opened into an interior atrium that really had nothing in it. Might as well have had no window at all. It’s almost as if they designed it so that they could avoid calling it a windowless room. That said the room was very nice. Spacious by European standards. Good quality mattresses. Bathroom was nice and functional with good water pressure. We didn’t attempt to use any of the fancy amenities like the swimming pool or the executive lounge. It’s also disappointing that the areas shown in the advertising material with a view of Westminster ( presumably this was the “ executive lounge “) were not accessible to the public. Still a decent hotel that we might’ve still chosen regardless. But it would’ve been good to have known about these details."
