We have stayed here 3 previous times and were very pleased. This time was extremely disappointing and we will find other accommodations for future visits. The first room we entered had a broken lock on the door and a trash bag was tied to the toilet paper holder instead of an actual trash can in the bathroom. We asked to changed rooms because of the broken lock and the gentleman at the front desk was accommodating. However, the next room he sent us to only had one bed and we needed two. Again, he was in good spirits as he directed us to the third room. The room was on the third floor, thankfully, because the rancid grease smell from the breakfast area was less noticeable that far away. I could smell the rancid grease and general filthy condition of the lobby and breakfast area from the moment we walked in. I would have changed hotels, but we were only there one night so it wasn't worth it. The couches in the lobby were torn and had stains all over them. The floor in the breakfast area was dirty, there was a thick layer of grease on the waffle maker, the high chair was covered in crumbs and greasy fingerprints and the lower tray of the cart near the coffee pots was half covered with hardened grease. On the hallway down to the breakfast area, the wallpaper was peeling away from the wall in several places and there was a large water (?) stain on the ceiling in part of the lobby. Had I not stayed there before, I would have walked away. We didn't go to the pool area.

Hi Lisa- I am very sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay, even after we spoke at checkout regarding the issues. As discussed, we have just recently had all of our lobby furniture and flooring professionally steam cleaned and are working on several renovations and upgrades throughout the hotel. We did have a moisture issue in our pool area that caused the wallpaper to peel in spots, again, these have been addressed and repaired. Dissappointed that there was no luggage cart...front desk didn't even know they ever had any...guess what..the next morning someone brought one down. Dissappointed that the hottub was not in working order and it looked dirty. The eggs were very salty, the bacon hot but not browned at all and the waffle iron kept sticking...needs a new waffle iron. Was out of water to purchase.

It was pretty and thought about and the GM was excellent! Clearly changing things for the better. But the roll in shower needs repair. The shower water comes right out and has significant tile damage. Needs immediate repair. My guess is there is significant damage in the walls from water damage, and the inside of our toilet had “splatters”.... This hotel had extremes. I so appreciate they are trying to fix the negative. And the service staff made it worth while... and the Decor! Also call to confirm your reservation if you book with a 3rd party.

All was GREAT, but........a coffee "pod" was left in the coffee maker and there is mold or mold looking filth in the shower.
