We loved the water park and will definitely return. The only reason why I did not leave excellents across the board is for the movie night. There were cigarettes butts everywhere, it was disgusting. It seemed it was possibly where the employees smoke except for during the movie.

The waterpark was much smaller than I expected. My 5 year old was too small for all the slides, and could only go on the kiddie slides, which was disappointing. The lifeguards were overly strict, constantly blowing the whistle at people. Hotel configuration was annoying, had to walk through a maze to get anywhere. Building was old and didn't feel clean. Rooms didn't have microwaves.

It was good. I asked about an upgrade to my room but was told that if I wanted a bigger room it was to cost me another $200 for the night. I couldn’t afford the extra money (as I was traveling with my 3 children to visit my very ill father in the hospital) so stayed in the room I booked. Hotel was clean and served its purpose for us.

I've been going to this hotel with my kids for two family generations. Ideal spot for little kids up to 10-12 but after that its over priced because kids get bored and the water park, though really great, doesn't hold their interest and so the high room rate isn't justified. Other than that I love the place. The suite this time was awesome. It could actually sleep up to 7-8 people if needed in total comfort. Huge single bed so comfy could sleep 3, wall pull out bed can sleep 2, big L couch can sleep 2 more on pull out, and another on the couch itself. We only had 6 but the potential is there. Hotel food is good. Lots of activities for little kids. Great Disney substitute on school vacation if booked way in advance. This may be my last time because all my kids are in their 20's plus with one teenager. Oh well I Love The Cape Codder Hotel. and staff. Will add photos later.

Great hotel. Close to downtown shopping.

We had a great stay here. Our son loved the water park. It was close to the shopping and restaurants on Main St.

Not good at all

1- one of the beds was broken with a nail sticking out. I (me) popped it back into place 2-water park was in clean, hot tub did not work, snack shack NEVER opened for service 3- they had two restaurants to pick from, one of them only had one person doing everything setting- serving- bar tendering- host. Nice man but way to much for one person and he told us right when we got there that he was the only one working and we would have to wait a while to be served. So my wife and I and our two kids walked to the other restaurant and when we got there a woman looked at us and said someone will come and sit u after 15 mins no one ever came back to touch base with us- so we had two kids that we're very hungry so we had to go back to our room CHANGE CLOTHES and leave hotel to eat. CRAZY. And side note the hotel was not that busy at all. 4- then we went to call the front desk for a couple more pillows and our phone in the room didn't work. At the end of the day I want to take my wife away over night for a nice relaxing time and it was anything but that. All she wanted to do was sit in a hot tub with a nice drink and relax and none of that happened for her.

Go for the water park not the room

The water park is worth the price and the trip. Remember that she you get to your room. The floor was dirty, the tub was dirty with absolutely no water pressure at all. The ac/ heat unit had an ice build up on it from a leak above, strange. Some channels on the tv were muted. Luckily it was only a night.

nice hotel,water park and restaurant

Pros: nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and reasonable price.
Cons: The art work on the walls in the room if I had to really improve anything. just not my taste!!
Location: lots of shopping and restaurants close by
The hotel was very nice and the room did not disappoint. The staff was excellent in the hotel, restaurant, water park and outside pool area. The staff was very friendly and greeted us when walking down the hall. Made us feel very welcomed.

Beautiful room

Pros: Rooms
Cons: Restaurant
Location: Not far from the water
The restaurant was kind of a Jeckll-Hyde. The breakfasts were superb but the dinner was just ho-hum The steak was tasteless, the linguini with white clam sauce was sandy and the drinks were weak even though the bartender said he's been making the 32 years. Can you imagine a drink with Stoly and you can't detect it? A LI ice tea was weak too. On the other hand the spicy wings were great. Jekll-Hyde.
