Service was amazing. Only thing that was annoying and somewhat bothersome was that the room doors SLAM every single time. The rooms next to us entry doors SLAM every time. Being awakened early morning with slamming doors was not expected. Please fix asap! The pool and service was amazing

Jim at the front desk was excellent and welcoming. The restaurant is also excellent, though make sure to make reservations as it’s quite popular. The hotel is undergoing a needed facelift, so I won’t rate it on appearance at this point. The rooms with fireplaces have electric “fireplaces.” I thought they would be gas. Overall, we had a good stay.

Decent but hard bed

The hotel was beautiful and our room spacious and clean. The bed however (king suite room) was not comfortable, it was very hard. We didn’t sleep well. For this reason alone I am not sure if I’d stay again given the great hotel reputation and price. If beds were upgraded that would make us stay again. We come to area for family and funerals from time to time. Breakfast was very good and included. We also got a 20% at the restaurant which we used and were very happy with our meals.

They are undergoing renovations and maybe should have stayed closed a bit longer. Strong smells of paint and I think carpet glue, our tv didn't work, ice machines not working vending not working. Staff was great trying to help though. 👍 It is still one of my favorite places to stay and look forward to seeing the renovations complete!

This was our second stay at this hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Delaney House restaurant next door was excellent. Will be having our daughter's wedding there later in the year.
