"We stayed here, family of 5, for 2 nights in June. We wanted to be at the feet of the Rockies. Discovery Lodge was unique...bigger room with 2 queen beds and they charged us $20 per night extra for the air mattress. I had to ask for a hair dryer, which seemed strange. Breakfast was hit and miss as they put out 6 small OJs which ran out quickly. I had to ask the staff to put out more items for a few of the breakfast foods.
However, I rate this highly as there were outdoor activities for the kids to engage in. AND, the location was ideal, just a few block from down town and access to all the regular stores. Having been in and around National parks for a few stays, this location was very nice.
We recommend this lodge for those with kids and those who are interested in eco-awareness."
