Don't wander to far from your hotel room

The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the hotel was in a sketchy part of town.

Would not back to this hotel

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
The bathroom had mold, we were woken up in the middle of the night by other customers fighting. There was no breakfast on first day of stay. The employee did not show up.

Nice for the price but musty room

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: room musty
When we arrived at the location, I was pleasantly surprised at the apparent quality of the hotel. It's a nice looking hotel in a nice neighborhood. However, I had a problem with the room cleanliness. We got a non-smoking room because I am asthmatic and my wife has bad allergies. The room was exceedingly musty with a smell that suggested someone had smoked in the room and it was cleaned with strong chemicals. We got up and left early in the morning because neither one of us could stand to be in the room any longer. We were only there for one night so it didn't seem worth our while to complain and get another room and I was worried a second room would be the same.

Great for the money and decently clean.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Nothing close, no mini fridge
There were some stains on the carpet and some dirty hand towels that were overlooked by the maid but it the sheets were clean as was the bathroom. One thing that was unfortunate there is no mini fridge which would have come in handy for leftovers or drinks.

not a good experience

Cons: Noisy
My room was in the "outside"building of the hotel. I was alone and did not feel very safe. Someone tried to enter my room at 4:30 in the morning. I was not impressed with any aspect of this hotel, and what staff spoke english was not friendly.

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: poor housekeeping
All I can say is I would not stay here again. If you must due to the price, which seemed reasonable, request a room inside the main building of the hotel. You will pay a little more but you will feel much safer and you will get a somewhat cleaner room. The main building looks good enough in the common areas but the cleanliness of the rooms leave a lot to be desired. They need to invest in some reupholstering for the room chairs and ottomans as they are badly stained, trust me you would not want to sit on them, or place your bags on them for that matter. They also need to invest in some bedskirts so as to at least camoflauge the badly stained box springs. Due to my line of work I make it a habit to inspect for bedbugs whether it is a 5 star hotel or a 2 star, and the box spring on the second bed looked like it may have had them at one point or another, although I did not see any activity anywhere. While inspecting, I noticed that if they do use a vaccuum, they do not use it behind the beds or around the furniture, looks like only the main path is vaccuumed. The bathroom was clean and so were the towels. There is a huge disparity between the cleanliness of the outer rooms and the inner rooms, so you can imagine what those look like. It's as if they tell the cleaning staff "not to worry about these rooms, these people paid less". I entered my first assigned room and was there for less than 5 minutes before I decided to "upgrade" to a "business class" room inside the hotel. Totally scary and made me feel cheap. I had a particular problem with one employee re: a problem I encountered, but the others were cordial enough, granted I spoke to none of them for anything except to say I'm checking in. The best thing would probably be the complimentary continental breakfast offered in the morning. The dining room was clean, the offerings were sufficient and fresh (belgian waffles you can make on your own, scrambled eggs, cereals, breads, coffee, juice) and the young lady attending the area was very polite and helpful. Parking is free, wi-fi inconsistent and the hotel entrance is not ADA accessible (no automatic doors, ramp leading to parking lot on the side is not sloped, has a huge curb). Thank God my apartment will be ready the next time I visit the area so I will not have to stay in this hotel again.

You get what you pay for..

Pros: Price, location to Ft. Meade, last minute reservations Cons: Terrible lighting to cover up the stained sheets, no water pressure so it takes a very long time to shower, stale smell.
