Good hotel in good location

Pros: The location was fabulous!
Cons: Perhaps large groups booking multiple rooms could be kept away from families with children who want to sleep.
Location: There is a lot to do nearby as this is located directly in the Inner harbor.
The hotel was in a great location and the rooms were clean. Unfortunately, we encountered some extremely boisterous guests on our floor who screamed, slammed doors and played knock and ditch for a few hours starting around midnight. A few calls to the front desk didn't do anything to curb the noise. However, the next evening, the manager was willing to comp one night of valet parking for us. I believe we would have gotten a night comped had we not used a third party to book the hotel.

Nice Stay

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet, no free parking, no shuttle service
This is an excellent hotel. Nice room, friendly staff, clean, beautiful views. The hotel restaurant (The Grille) has outstanding food!! The only cons are the internet is not free, nor is the parking (we stayed there 2 nights and paid $52 in parking at the end of our stay). There is also no shuttle service, which was inconvenient considering it was almost impossible to get a cab the weekend we were there due to a race going on.

Very Good

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet
This is a very nice hotel within walking distance of all the great inner harbor attractions. Our room had a beautiful view of the water. The room was very clean and the staff was excellent. Would stay here again!

Perfect Location on Inner Harbor

Pros: Quiet
The location is wonderful - picked up Water Taxi right outside the Hotel that was a 5 minute boat ride away for all Inner Harbor happenings. Hotel pool (indoors) was relaxing and stayed open late. Room Service was prompt (30 Minutes) food was delivered to room. Beautiful location (on 27th Floor) had such panoramic views of the Inner Harbor and all the fascinating things to do.

Friendly and helpful service all around

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
From the bellstand, to the concierge, to the front desk, to the hotel bartender there was very helpul service all the way around, even breakfast buffet waitress in the Grill Room in the morning. Not bad considering It was Opening Day for the Orioles at the other end of town and the hotel was filled with high school volleyball players and parents for the state regional tournament.

The best east coast visit ever

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, accessibility to everything
From the room, to the staff, to the accessibility to everything in New Harbor, you could not have asked for a better visit. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the service was impeccable.

Poor Service, especially from manager N

This hotel was a convenient location, new and clean, but if you want service, go elsewhere. We were short on time so we decided to grab a quick bite at the restaurant. We waited for at least 10 minutes before a sever finally approached us (he had passed by us at least 8 times) so thankfully our invisibility wore off. We ordered and the food, which came out quickly, sat under the heat lamps for several minutes. The airport shuttle, which the hotel's concierge explained to me a day earlier, would be at the hotel, did not show. I went to the lobby early and waited for over 30 minutes (after asking about it to a bellman) and when I inquired a second time, was told that "oh, they aren't reliable" so I had to get a cab. Both bellmen told me that the shuttle was unreliable after I had waited for a long time, needing to get to the airport. It would have been nice to know that before depending on it to get to the airport. When my girlfriend, who was still at the hotel explained this to manager N, he blew her off, insisted that the shuttle was reliable, and said he would credit the room. He did not give her the credit so when she checked out the next day, the front desk person asked N about it and he came out and authorized it but did not acknowledge my girlfriend who was standing in front of him. Instead of apologizing for his staff giving out improper information, N made it very clear that he did not believe us.

Marriot Baltimore Waterfront

The hotel view of the inner harbor was spectacular. Reqest a corner room and you will not be disappointed. The hotel is perfectly situated and is within easy walking distance to all. It is in the heart of the harbor district and is surrounded by first class restaurants and shops. Water transporation is steps from the lobby. The rooms were clean and attractive and the bed comfortable. The price was reasonable for this four star hotel. My only gripe is that parking was an extra $25. per night. RDS

Will definitley return

This hotel was beautiful, comparable to the " Seaport" in Boston. When we arrived our room was not ready, as there were hundreds of REDSOX fans checking in and out for the weekend. We had to stay in double as opposed to King, but the view we got in return was worth it. THe beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean and quiet and the entire staff was very accomodating. We had the breakfast buffet on Saturday it was excellent, omlettes cooked to order, friendly up beat wait staff. The location is so convienent, walk to activites on the inner harbor, restaurants and Camden Yards, but not in the middle of busy downtown. We used the gym facilities in the morning and appreciated the bottled water placed on each piece of equipment. The gym was small but did the trick. Pool looked nice and inviting, nice deck to view harbor from the pool area. We were even able to listen to a James Taylor concert at the Pier directly across the street. This was our first trip to Baltimore, but are planning to return next year ( when the REDSOX are in town) and we would LOVE to stay here again.
