Be prepared that even though this is within walking distance from the hotel this is a rough neighborhood with a high crime rate. In addition, the room was not clean. Pretty certain there was blood on the bathroom floor. When we went down for breakfast the room was so hot you could not stand it. We checked out after night one.

The staff and front desk was not welcoming, no greetings, no assistance unless asked. Front desk did not welcome, were too busy on their phones, away from the front desk or watching TV with their feet up as if they were home. Very unprofessional and unfriendly. Cleaning staff worked with their kids besides them, rooms half done and nothing replenished. Had to ask and go looking for staff to replenish b/c no one was around. Furniture was damaged and/or filthy. Rugs were disgusting, felt like mud in my feet. Breakfast was a joke, no service and took long to replenish, no AC in the breakfast room, it was cooler outside than inside and homeless sitting outside the door which no one bothered to attend to. Elevator doors appeared as if they have never been cleaned. Staff was not helpful at all especially the ladies, the men were a bit better, they tried to help and assist. It was sad because it was a good location and a nice building. I’m a travelers and this stay was by far the worst yet.

Inexpensive place when traveling on a budget

"Faded Glory" defines this hotel. Convenient location and low prices relative to a lot of Baltimore Hotels, but definitely just past the bar on the acceptable rating. Housekeeping did not replenish coffee supplies, used towels were removed and not replaced.

The staff at the front desk were very unpleasant. The whole hotel reeked of marijuana. I would definitely not recommend going to this hotel no matter what the price of the hotel is.

Hotel was in a perfect location to aquarium and oriole's stadium. Room had mold all in shower and on ceiling. Also no toilet paper holder anywhere in bathroom it was rested on tub. No smoking hotel but over powering smell of marijuana. Two different desk clerks confused about parking garage and rates.

Do not waste your money

The hotel is gross and the staff is rude. Do not waste your time. It smells, and it's dirty.

Strange.

Pros: Nothing.
Location: It is only a few blocks from the inner harbor but if you take that walk after dark - stay very aware of your surroundings.
The hotel is old - parking is in a public lot across the street. Not a very nice part of town. Staff is sort of indifferent. The scrambled eggs in the breakfast bar may be the worst I have ever had - I took two bites and threw the rest away.

Great hotel; off the beaten path; but still close

Pros: Service was great; staff excellent
Cons: Did not replace my linen or emty water from my ice bucket; or vaccum my room. The remote for the TV was the wrong one for the Sony TV
Location: Inner Harbor; Pier 6 Amphitheater, Federal Hill, Oriole Park, M&T Bank Stadium
Great hotel; off the beaten path; but still close enough to stroll to inner harbor. Directly behind Courthouse, and near City Hall

Last minute stay = success!

We had to leave our AirBnB in the middle of the night because the A/C wasn't working and we came here - the man working at the front desk was so nice. When we got to our room, the smoke detector was beeping because the battery was dead so we were able to switch rooms in less than 10 minutes. If you're on a budget, this is a good place to stay. There are some unsavory characters that hang around at night and during the day but it is downtown so that's expected.
