Alot of SIZZLE but no STEAK…

Was texted a “welcome” after checking in. This text asked if I had any questions or concerns. i did. I tried calling the Explorer restaraunt multiple times on Sat afternoon and not a single answer. Then called the hotel number as it was listed on my booking and same result: just rang. Did the numerous times and with no change in results. Pretty sad that no one csn Pick up a phone. I also received zero reply to the text message I sent stating the above. So now you are asking for my opinion: you now have it. Its poor! We did have fantastic check in service from Trey. He is an asset to your business. Very courteous and willing to hustle. Lastly, your Keurig coffee pods are a bit ….ummm…. Alarming. Members Mark coffee? At a hotel of your caliber? Really??

Very convenient to the harbor! Room was clean and staff (especially the valet) were super nice. They let us do a 12pm checkout as well. Wish they had room service or a nicer bar to spend some time at (for adults) but it was perfect for the kids! Nice that there is a pool but it was 5ft deep all around which is tough with small kids/new swimmers.

Drove 4 hours for a graduation and reserve rooms for 3 adults 2 kids. When we got yo check in, the guy at the desk told us that he over sold and so we only get to have a room with a queen bed. When i question him on how he sells a room that was already book he only told me that i book through a third party so that it wasn’t his problem. Highly unprofessional and disrespectful.

Everything was a mess. The room was nothing like what I booked, and there was no manager or staff to solve any problems. This was the worst experience ever.

The room was clean and spacious and the upgraded view of the king city view was worth it. Unfortunately, the service in this particular Royal Sonesta property didn't live up to what their other properties provide. Getting extra cofffe, a blanket, etc. was a drawn out process.
