Best of the Best!

I wouldn't stay in any other hotel if you plan on taking a trip to the Inner Harbor. Excellent staff and amenities and close to everything.

Terrible Experience

Pros: Free Internet

Our stay this past weekend was terrible . My daughter became violently ill during our stay and the hotel staff could not have been less helpful. When I called down to the concierge to ask about whether the hotel had a doctor on call the answer was 'I don't know-I'll need to check". Twenty minutes later he called back and said "the doctor relocated " (!?). I asked if they had any lysol or something to clean our room (my child was vomiting continually) and I was told "we don't use lysol" (!?). Instead they brought me some baby wipes! My child was so sick that the housekeeper recommended that I take her to the ER. He called the security office and asked if they would take us. Security called me back and said that we would need to take a cab. We went downstairs to get a cab and their was only one person out front and it took her at least 15 minutes to get a cab while she was parking guests cars as they were coming in. Finally I said that we would call an ambulance. That's when she had her manager get us a cab. We didn't even get any help with which ER to go to. The hotel said that U of Maryland was closest, but the cab driver said that Johns Hopkins had a children's ER and would be better. We were at the ER all night until about 6 am--when we got back they were washing the doors and we had to wait until they got off the ladders and let us in. My child is OK (not that the hotel even bothered to follow up with us to find out), but if you are traveling with children --do not stay here. They will not be able to help you or direct you to get the help you need if your child gets ill or hurt. Other issues-- elevators are terrible--key cards don't work and you end up riding the elevators all day food-- the chefs at wit and wisdom will NOT listen to you when you ask them to prepare fish cooked well done. They served my child tuna steak RAW and I sent it back twice--and it was still bright pink in the middle (probably why she got so sick) rooms are tiny view- we asked for a marina view--which we got when you stood out on the balcony and turned your body to the narrowest part of the balcony to look out price-- high prices for very little
