No maid service. We were there 3 nights. I booked 3 nights and on the 3rd day I got a call saying I needed to leave and security would be coming to escort me out. We had a leak in our room from the ceiling, it was raining. The light by the window didn’t work. We only got clean towels because the maids were told we were checking out. The Pool wouldn’t let my grandson use the pool after 2 pm. He is 6 ft. and will be 16 in 2 months. Restaurant service was great and food was great. Entertainment was great, cocktails were great.

The king bed was ok. The sofa bed was not a true pullout sofa, it was just a sofa. They didn’t have sheets for the sofa. I had to call housekeeping 3 times to get sheets and blanket.

Although I understand Atlantic City activities are primarily for the adult population however I do feel the pool hours for 16 and under were not realistic. I believe 2 pm is a bit early and the reason I got was the bar however the bar was open nice and early and adults were drinking as soon as they opened. I also understand people may become intoxicated later in the day but 3-4 sounds like a more reasonable time frame especially on the weekends. It was a decent stay otherwise

I was thoroughly disappointed with my stay at the Golden Nugget. I booked a room with a view of the bay and was given a room with a view of the parking lot! When I went to the concierge about it, they told me to look to my right to find the bay and that the rooms higher up had a clear view--so why didn't they move me or return my money? The bathroom bathtub is extremely high and there are no safely bars--very dangerous showering situation. Casino is smokey, very bad ventilation. In addition, there is no outdoor walking area so you are stuck in hotel unless you drive to the boardwalk. The outdoor pool area is the only redeeming factor.
