Our room was very clean but the furniture needed upgrading. The couch was so bad we need to put a sheet on it. We had previously stayed at this hotel and was surprised to see the furniture in such need. For the money in resort fees and parking, we will not stay at this property again.

Staff is just plain rude—couldn’t be bothered trying to resolve simple requests.The rooms are beyond dated—smell like cigarette smoke and lack basic necessities like a shower curtain.The hotel staff did bring one up—but left it up to us to put it on the rod.Basically everyone who works there hates their job and takes it out on the guests.The only people there who was friendly and helpful were the Bellman. Atlantic City is a filthy place and stepping off the boardwalk is down right scary.If you are going to gamble—pick a Casino hotel and don’t leave that building.The gangster element and weed stink on that boardwalk isn’t worth anyone’s time or money.

Fall From Ranks Of Great Hotel Stays

I have been to Atlantic Palace at least 10 times in the past several years. I returned annually because the property was always very clean, the staff was very courteous, and the other guests were very friendly. This year was very different. The 1 bdrm suite that I paid for was absolutely filthy. The room smelled of human excrement and had stains on the carpet, furniture, bedding, kitchen chairs & tables in addition to damage to the other furniture. The front desk had me wait for housekeeping in the hot hallway with no ventilation after I explained to them that I was a post open heart patient who suffers with severe lung disease. The housekeeping supervisor was appalled at the condition of the room. She confirmed to the front desk manager that the room was not suitable to be occupied. The manager stated that I would have to take a studio but never adjusted the rate. The studio would’ve been fine if the sink wasn’t leaking. I spent everyday cleaning up water to prevent mold & mildew from growing and going into the room below me. Their housekeepers did bring towels and removed the wet ones several times a day. The maintenance guy also tried to redirect the leak so it was easier to contain. It was terrible. I was too tired to enjoy anything else trying to manage their problems. Housekeeping & maintenance checked on me regularly to help but I still spent my time managing overflowing water. I was so disappointed. I really used to love this hotel and its staff. Badly Mismanaged Now!

The smell and condition of the furniture was terrible
Maintenance turned down the water flow to slow the leaking of water onto and underneath the sink so it was easier to manage the overflow and flooding in the unit.
