The ocean and city views were awsome. We went in middle of week and a lot of restaurants were not open. That is only negative to our time at Ocean, but we will definitly be back.

The property was very well kept. Our room on the 32nd floor had a great view of the ocean and sunrises. We found the restaurants a little on the pricy side, but the food was very good. The property on the north side of the hotel is somewhat unsightly as seen from our room with many vacant lots and homes scattered about. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning for a show and overnight if the opportunity presented itself.

Everything was stellar except check in. We arrived at 3 PM and were told our room wasn’t ready. We left our email address to be notified when the room was available. After an hour and 20 minutes, I went back to front desk as we did not receive an email and found a room was available.

My wife and I arrived at the hotel and reached the front desk at 4:10 which is 10 minutes after the start of check in. I booked a studio suite which is an upgraded room. After the desk agent took my card and ID and checked me into three property, she told me my room would not be ready for about 20 minutes because the cleaners weren't finished with it. She told me I would receivean email when the room was ready. She said the room would be on the 39th floor. I didn't make a fuss and just returned to my car to leave it bags there. When 5pm rolled around and I still had not received an email, I returned to the front desk. A different desk agent helped us this time. She could see my wife was upset. The only consolation that we were given was that check in starts at 4pm but they couldn't guarantee the availability of the room at that time. She did say that the cleaners just finished the room and they could give us key cards. It was 5:10pm, a full hour after we originally arrived at the front desk. I was unsatisfied with this response so I asked to speak with a manager. After waiting for about 5 minutes I asked if she could just provide me with the business card of the manager. At that point she went to the back and returned with someone who apeared to be about 20 years old. This guy lacked customer service skills and empathy. He gave the same response that they could not guarantee the room's availability at 4pm when check in begins and it could take all the up to 9pm.

Love the rooms and casino. Pool is amazing and would have given it an Excellent but the chair situation at the pool is not great. Too many unused chairs saved for high rollers who are not coming to the pool. Property is lovely and super pretty.

Room was ok but can improve on cleanliness. The bathroom was recently caulk and it was on the floor everywhere in the bathroom. Infront of the42nd floor elevator had a spill for three consecutive days we stayed there. The housekeeper was not pleasant. We ask for extra towels she said she wasn’t suppose to give extra towel. Beautiful hotel but can definitely improve on cleanliness or lose your 5 stars.
