I didn’t like the room at all. Room had water damage ceilings sheets was dirty what look like old blood stain. We got the there 4 hours early. So we knew are room would not be ready Which is understandable. But when check-in time came and went by, we started getting sleepy and angry after a 4 hour walk. Everyone who paid though Wyatt room was ready and anybody Paid though something else wasn’t ready.

The view alone is well worth it! I’ve stayed here many times and at other places nearby, but this, by far, is the best!!!

Great view of NYC

Pros: The location, view and subway access was the best.
Cons: Sofa stain should have been addressed before giving the room to paying guests. The room costs are not cheap & Hyatt is supposed to be a 4 star hotel.
Location: Great location with view and easy access to NYC
The hotel was in a great location with easy access to the Path station right next door connecting to NYC World Trade Center oculus station. The view of NYC was amazing. The Hotel restaurant was reasonably priced but there were also other restaurant options within easy walking distance such as Starbucks, Piggybacks, and Gregorys coffee. One negative was that the sofa in our room had a large stain of unknown origin. We requested housekeeping to clean it but they were unable to remove it completely. When you see that in a room it leaves you feeling a bit icky even though all else seemed relatively clean. Would have requsted another room except other family members were in an adjoining room and we didn't want to disrupt them. I recommend the hotel mostly because of location.

Thank you for your feedback. We will certainly address the issue of the stain with our housekeeping staff.

Bad beds

Was sold a room with a view, did not get it. Beds were on some sort of weird, noisey platform. Every time we rolled over, made a lot of noise. Housekeeping left us with used, nearly empty shampoo bottle, so did not have enough for two. Also, all morning we were hearing noise from above. Staying at at an established hotel should be a bit easier. Much better luck at Doubletree and even Candlewood....both very close.

Late!

I will start by saying that when we complained they were attentive! We were late to the wedding we were in bc we could not check in. We were told it was a full the night before... When we did get in, it was a scrappy room on the first floor and there was a hole in the ceiling! When I used was in the bathroom there was a leak and water on the floor. I called the front desk and they moved us but it was a different room and not what we booked. Then we were told we could have comp breakfast. However it was not taken care of. All in all the location was amazing but if I'm paying so much money I would like to have gotten into my room in time, had it be the one or similar to what I chose and have promises kept.

Nice accomadations, restaurant not impressive

The accomadations and view of Manhattan were great. However, the restaurant was way overpriced for the quality of food. I understand everything is more expensive in Manhattan and surrounding areas but the food is normally amazing as well. You get what you pay for right? Not at the Hyatt restaurant. Overpriced for the mediocre food.

Just a place to sleep.

Parking cost was outrageous, then you have to tip the valet on top of that. Our room was not worth 300.00 a night by my standards. It was tiny and drab. The fridge made a squeak noise all night, they did fix it the next day though. The pool was small. Our dinner for 4 (including 2chicken finger dinners for our 2 kids came to 200.00. The beds were comfortable. Just to much money for what we actually got.

I'm so glad we chose this hotel for our NYC stay!

Everything about the Hyatt Regency was absolutely wonderful! The friendly staff, excellent rooms, and wonderful restaurant were just a few of the amazing things about this hotel. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and it was so close to New York City. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to have a great experience in NYC.

Beautiful location!

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
The front desk, activity desk, and restaurant staffs are friendly and helpful. I will return to this Hotel; it faces the Hudson River- such a beautiful site. Plus its conveniences to catch the train or ferry across to Manhattan.
