"Great hotel, great location..."
The hotel was as advertised - right on the beach, clean, spacious, central to shopping and restaurants on Eagle beach, and the staff was just wonderful. We rents a 1 bedroom suite, we had a 13 and 15 yr old with us. The younger slept on the sofa bed, and the older slept on the day bed with no real complaints. My wife and I had the bedroom, although note the French doors that seperate the bedroom is just glass and not "100%" private. The kitchen was spacious by most standards - full fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, table, and a good amount of cabinet space. All the typical kitchen supplies were there. We cooked breakfast and lunches with no problem, and ate out for dinners. The balcony was quaint with a wonderful view of the beach. I would recommend a higher room if possible to maximize the view. The hotel facwas generally superb - two adjacent restaurants, two local bars for getting drinks. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. The wifi worked pretty well too - we paid for the "silver plan" which was about $3/day for 4 devices. I only have two parts of advice for future travelers (1) the palapas get reserved ridiculously early. It seemed people put their towels out the night before and then woke up around 4:00 to sit in them until 6:00 at which point a hotel rep would jot down the room number and "reserve" it. (2) because we were "renting" from time share owners, which Travelocity had not notified us about, we had to switch rooms during our stay, which was a bit of a hassle.

"We will be back!"
Overall, great stay. Afford-ably priced. Very helpful staff. Not overly crowded. Clean facilities. My only negative comment has to do with the "Hut Reservation" system/policy. If your not online exactly at 4pm, you had to be in line the next morning at 6am to get a hut. Unlike the rest of the staff, the lady that was in charge of the huts and mats was very crabby. Hard to deal with her as she didn't have very good customer service skills.

"Nice hotel, close to activities & feet from beach."
Typically whenever we vacation the hotel is a place to sleep. Everything else is a bonus. This was probably the nicest Holiday Inn that we have seen. The beach was phenomenal and shopping and restaurants were all within walking distance. We recommend the locally run cuisine like The Old Konucu House (sp?) - ask the concierge and they will tell you about the best local cuisine. The kids loved the pools and lots of other activities. If you decide see the island, do yourself a favor and rent a jeep. We tried a 4 person ATV and we were filthy and almost ruined a high price digital camera - drifting around corners was fun though... In the jeep we saw the same remote beauty in the comfort of a/c - much better... We are scuba divers- the Antilla wreck was ok but the Malmok reef was awful. This is just a sign of the times - supposedly the best diving for advanced and above is on the eastern and southern tip of the island- we have kids that snorkel so we dove on sites that were amenable to both. All in, I gave our stay a solid 8 out of 10 - I do not give 10's.

"Beautiful kept hotel near shopping, gorgeous beach"
My top three favorite things on this trip was the Kukoo Kunuku Bus. It was dinner and dancing and really just the bus ride around was fun. I loved ABC tours for the trip to blue hole and caves. I did all day excursion with them and it was fantastic. Marriott Surf Club is where I stayed and it was gorgeous. Remember its windy so plan accordingly for that.

"Great time with Club Arias"
Our first visit was awesome at Club Arias, we booked 8 days and ended up changing our flight plans to stay longer. The bed and breakfast has everything you need, plus extras like oversized towels and lots of pillows. Each unit is supplied with a “beach set up” everything you need to have a great day at the beach like cooler, towels, and chairs. Our vacation was very relaxing, we were as busy as we wanted (no pressure). The island has so many different beaches that some days we were all alone. If you love to stay at a great resort without all the people from larger properties this is the place. The swim up bar was a great place to relax and meet some other guests. One night we all got together and went to a great Greek restaurant where you bring your own bottle of wine or drinks. Great times in Aruba. This year we are going on the same week to meet up with some friends we met at Eagle Beach. John & Holly TEXAS

"Wonderful all inclusive hotel next to the beach"
1st time at an all inclusive and to a tropical place. Let me say it was a 10/10. The hotel is right next to the beach and if you upgrade and get a casita it is on the beach. The staff was amazing, and the room was very nice.We almost stayed at the riu and when we saw it we were relieved we didn't. Divi doesn't feel as touristy. The drinks were just fine and we landed up taking home the extra liquor we bought at the airport. Breakfast buffet was nice! Red parrot was delicious. The dinner spots were yummy, but for lunch the buffet was ehh. You can get snacks at the bar and those were ok. The pizza was the best. Overall aruba is paradise and I will certainly return and stay at Divi again. Tamajirn's beach wasn't as nice, but you can go back and forth to see both resorts which was neat. The staff at both were wonderful. It truly is one happy island.

"Great room, horrible check in"
Overall the room was lovely except the air conditioning keypad was locked so we couldn't adjust the temperature. Got tired of all the pasta! Supermarket just behind the hotel was a plus. The wifi was way too expensive to get in the room and if u got it only one device could be used at a time
