First All-Inclusive Experience. Loved the Beach! Absolutely stunning! This was my first time at an all-inclusive resort, I was a bit hesitant about the food going in, but it turned out to be quite good with enough variety to keep things interesting. Overall, a relaxing and beautiful getaway. The beach alone is worth the trip!

Limited dining options. Restaurants do not accept reservations and even waiting in line 90 mins early does not guarantee you a spot. Staff hit or miss for friendliness and being helpful. Not our best Riu experience. Pool closes too early for an adults only. On the plus side, beach is very nice and if you get a chair its very relaxing. Should have beach bar service though. Drinks are very small, lots of walking back and forth...which honestly at least makes you get some exercise!

The place is beautiful located on such a gorgeous beach. The food was great - they did a theme night every night at the buffet which we really enjoyed. They also have entertainment every night which I didn’t expect to be as good as it was. The staff - the WHOLE staff is so friendly, helpful, smiling all the time, overall I would say the best part of RIU is the staff. My only disappointment was the condition of the beach. The palapas are falling apart, some of the beach chairs are broken, the sand itself should be raked/cleaned. Even the beach towels are in pretty shabby condition. It’s almost like no one is running the beach end of the resort. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t up to par with the rest of the resort.

Overall our stay at RIU was wonderful they upgraded our room to a suite at no additional cost. The elite restaurant food was terrible. We did enjoy the buffet different theme menu for dinner each night. The beach and pool was gorgeous and the staff were all great and friendly. The only complaint I have is that someone stole my The only complaint I have is that my Gucci sunglasses was stolen from my suitcase in my room. I forgot to put it in the safe. Otherwise I would have given the resort all stars!

Door keys failed every time. Property is outdated and needs upgrading. Not as clean and pristine as other RIUs. Staff are not as attentive. Food is mediocre at best. It was just not the five star resort and it made me decide to switch from RIU Brand after staying at 6 of them. They need to change entertainment. Switch it up. I had a great trip but this resort is not up to par with my standards.

1. Why no electrical outlets on both sides of the bed? We had to ask for an extension cord and run it all the way across the room to a plug in order to use our CPAP machine. 2. Each time our room was cleaned, our safe was tampered with and we had to get the hotel staff to come reset it. 3. Our TV would only work on one station. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone. No one ever came to fix the issue.

Do not like the dining process. You need to be on line about 5/5:15 to get to eat in specialty restaurants at 6:00. Not really how I want to spend my time on vacation!!! Also when I checked into my room we had no towels. Called 3 times before I got any. Next day same thing. Next day same thing. Now I realize this was probably the people working on my floor but I called front desk several times and still no help. Received a number for a person to call with any issues, they were never there to answer. Overall not happy, won’t stay again.

Staff was nice. This in no way reflects them. However, the property needs updating. Limited restaurant choices. The late night restaurant is a waste of time. Needs moisture protection on rooms, AC systems not the best. Pool closes at 6. Sister property repairs too noisy from some rooms. Pick your room wisely or you’ll be looking at repairs taking place and loud club noise from below.
