We didn't understand that we had to arrange our own airport transportation. Italian restaurant Chicken parmesan seemed to be made from a slicing machine, never saw so little chicken. Had to wait in line for Steak restaurant or get turned away, while elite guests who had their own private restaurants were reserved in our restaurant. Not enough details about entertainment, and night music was too loud. Inclusive snorkel equipment should be at least daily, not for one hour and have to check in every hour.

First time in Aruba and the RIU Palace Antilles experience we had was beyond awesome. Great hotel, awesome view, great restaurants and the food was amazing. Will defiantly come back in the future.

We had an amazing time here. The people and staff were so nice. Our view from our 17 th floor balcony was incredible. The sunset was lovely. The food at the buffet was delicious. The best vacation ever. Thank you!

Riu Antillas – Extremely Disappointed! Stay at Riu Palace Instead! We stayed at Riu Antillas, but ended up spending most of our time next door at the Riu Palace, and thank God for that! The difference between the two is night and day. The vibe, energy, and friendliness at the Palace are on another level. A huge shoutout to Dulcinea at the pool bar — she was an absolute gem! Her kindness and positive energy made our trip so much better. Unfortunately, Antillas was a huge letdown. A very disturbing incident happened at their steakhouse, and it completely ruined our impression of the resort. For four nights in a row, we tried to get a reservation with no luck. Finally, one evening they signed us up, gave us a ringer, and told us to arrive by 6:30 PM. We waited patiently until 8:00 PM, and when the ringer finally started blinking, we went to the entrance. The hostess coldly told us she hadn’t called us and still had seven parties ahead — even though we had been sitting there the entire time with a blinking ringer in hand. Then things got even worse. The steakhouse manager, LISSETTE, came over and was shockingly rude and disrespectful. When my husband tried to read her name tag after asking for her name, she hit his hand and his phone fell to the ground. We immediately reported the situation to the manager on duty, expecting at least an apology or some action — but nothing was done. Overall, the service at Antillas was terrible and the management didn’t seem to care at all.

I was spared to have an Ocean view but instead they're were cabanas in front of my room. When I asked for compensation one of the Managers lied and said I never requested another room. I am home and this is still not resolved.

AVOID this place at all costs. We checked out of the room after the first night and went somewhere else. First impressions were this place needed some major updates but nothing too crazy. Staff was pleasant at check in but not overly friendly. We got to our room and that’s when it went down hill. The hallway leading to our room was filthy and smelled terrible. It looked like the carpets hadn’t been vacuumed in months. In our room we also noticed disrepairs and a lack of cleanliness. We had a big greasy handprint on our wall and a crushed bug guys and all completely stuck and dried up on the shower wall. There was also hair under the fitted sheet. We were just going to have them switch our rooms until we went to lunch. The food was practically inedible. I took one bite of my Mahi and didn’t go any further. My high school cafeteria had better offerings. I ended up eating a plate of olives and cucumbers for lunch. Beach and pool lounges don’t have any drink services so you have to get up and go to the bar every time you want something which when it’s all inclusive is pretty often. You can’t make reservations for dinner so we couldn’t eat at the steakhouse even getting there at 6:30. We ate across the walkway at the Arubian restaurant which looked like a hospital cafeteria. No ambiance what so ever. Again, a steak and lobster that was borderline inedible. Servers were very somber and not friendly / lively at all. It started our vacation on a really bad note. We left the next day

Just left & absolutely would return. Only issue was smell in hallways in hotel. Wasn’t terrible but definitely had a smell while walking to room. Request even number room for great view of ocean!
