We did not enjoy our stay at this property. We chose this property because it was one of the few adult only options in the area. We were truly disappointed with the accommodations and overall experience at this property. The rooms are super basic. We paid for an ocean view suite and wound up with a suite facing the back of the hotel. When we arrived we were not served a welcome drink that we saw others with later that week. Our room had no tv remote. It took us two days before we finally received a remote. The bathroom was really hot, so hot that we had to shower with the door open to let the AC into the bathroom. The food was mid. The highlight of the property was the beach front area. The staff was very nice as well! Another issue was the horrible smell in the hallways. It’s clear they haven’t washed the carpets in years - it smells like mold and mildew. There was mold in the shower as well. We also noticed that they would only give us one hand rag when the room was cleaned. We called the front desk and requested more towels but they never came. The room service was no good. They had a limited menu and the quality of the food was bad. We wound up eating dinner out every night as we weren’t happy with the food options. If you’re seeking a good place to stay - this isn’t it.

We had a pleasant stay at the RIU Antilles. The only things that need to be worked on is the dining situation in the evenings - if you are not at the specialty restaurants by 6:00 p.m, you have a hard time, if at all, getting in once it is full. Also, the covered beach areas (palapas) are taken once the attendant is there at 6:00 a.m. We had a hard time finding a spot on the beach by 7:00 a.m. and most people don’t want to be up that early just to secure a spot. Other than that, we had a great time!

I recently stayed at the Riu resort and unfortunately, my experience was less than pleasant. The resort was overcrowded and noisy throughout my stay. One incident that particularly stood out was witnessing someone vomiting in the pool area during midday, which was quite unsettling. Additionally, adults were seen yelling and sprinting through the lobby, adding to the chaotic atmosphere. Hygiene standards seemed to be lacking, as I observed salt and pepper shakers being wiped with dirty cloths that were used to clean food off dirty tables. Furthermore, tables were wiped without the use of cleaning products, which was concerning. On a positive note, the buffet offered a wide variety of food options, which was a highlight of my stay. However, I found the restaurant seating policy to be quite ridiculous, as well as the palapa game they had in place. The rooms in the villas were outdated, featuring 70s/80s decor that could use a modern touch. Despite this, the location of the villas is beautiful and convenient, especially if you don't mind navigating stairs. Overall, due to the noise, hygiene issues, and outdated rooms, I would not choose to stay at this loud party hotel again.

OCEANFRONT ROOM IN ANTILLAS VERY SPACIOUS ANDBEAUTIFUL. DIFFICULT GETTING INTO ALLA CARTE RESTAURANTS. ONLY 2 SEATINGS, NEED TO GET THERE BY 6:30-7 TO GET BEEPER FOR 2ND SEATING OR SOLD OUT FOR THE NIGHT. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ARUBIAN RESTAURANT. WE ATE AT HOTEL 3 NIGHTS- FOOD NOT GREAT. WENT OUT THE OTHER 4 NIGHTS. CAN NOT GET PALAPA/UMBRELLA ON BEACH UNLESS YOU GO OUT AT 6-6:30 AM. AFTER 3PM PEOPLE START TO LEAVE AND PALAPAS OPEN UP. THEY SAY 2 HOURS UNATTENDED AND THEY WILL REMOVE BELONGINGS- NOT AT ALL TRUE.
