We didn't understand that we had to arrange our own airport transportation. Italian restaurant Chicken parmesan seemed to be made from a slicing machine, never saw so little chicken. Had to wait in line for Steak restaurant or get turned away, while elite guests who had their own private restaurants were reserved in our restaurant. Entire place was clean and the staff was amazing as always this was our second time we were there 8 years ago and loved it decided to go back did not disappoint would love to take our kids to the palace next time for a family vacation looking forward to visiting again

Definitely NOT a 5-Star Hotel 3 Stars at Best! Just got back from Riu Palace Antillas (Adults Only), and I’m shocked this place claims to be a 5-star resort. It’s not even close. The staff is rude and act entitled, no genuine warmth at all everything feels fake and forced. The hotel is old and poorly maintained. Carpets are lifting on every floor, the hallways smell like mold and wet dog, and paint is chipping everywhere with sloppy patchwork. The so called “ocean view” rooms are misleading you have to lean over the balcony just to catch a glimpse of the ocean. The pool area is boring, nothing exciting or relaxing about it, and the “adults only” label means nothing they still allow kids on the beach, which defeats the purpose. Ironically, the family side next door looks newer, cleaner, more fun, and even has better entertainment. The resort is all-inclusive, and I’ll give them credit they are not cheap with the liquor. Drinks are everywhere and constantly refilled, even in your room. But that’s where the positives end. The food is average, often reused from the previous meal what’s dinner one day becomes lunch the next. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, there’s very little for you. Even when I asked for a fresh omelette, the cooks cross-contaminated everything after I told them I was vegetarian. No gloves, no hairnets, no care. The entertainment was disappointing. The pool DJ constantly made sexual jokes, setting an unprofessional and awkward vibe it felt like

Hotel needs a makeover, my key card didn’t work most of the time I got it replaced like 5 times literally. The entertainment was boring and the food was repetitive. Really nice beach with sunset however however.

This review has info about being VEGAN! Cons: people reserved chairs at the pool very early and staff didn’t enforce rule to not do that; gym was often crowded and didn’t have clean towels or water; we booked a room with two queens and got a king; night entertainment was lame Pros: Beautiful room; Food was good and had variety AND was labeled well for various food restrictions including being vegan (though sometimes I noticed something with meat in it being labeled as vegetarian); staff was friendly and helpful; Beach and pools were lovely

Nice place to stay in Aruba. Room was great, buffet was really good as well. We enjoyed all but one of the a la cart restaurants. Two things I’d like to note that they can improve. It’s difficult to get in to most a la cart restaurants especially the steak, I suggest adding more tables. I saw a lot of wasted space in each of the restaurants. The probability of eating dinner at the buffet is very therefore why not make it more inviting. By adding some soft lighting theywill take the experience to another level.

staff was very friendly, Freddy in the bar & buffet waiter "Al Roker" deserve a shout out; sit down restaurants have no reservations but went went to Italian on Saturday 18:30 there were open tables yet I was denied entry because of a "waiting list" & menu needs to be changed all week it was the same selections
