We didn't understand that we had to arrange our own airport transportation. Italian restaurant Chicken parmesan seemed to be made from a slicing machine, never saw so little chicken. Had to wait in line for Steak restaurant or get turned away, while elite guests who had their own private restaurants were reserved in our restaurant. Not enough details about entertainment, and night music was too loud. Inclusive snorkel equipment should be at least daily, not for one hour and have to check in every hour.

The room was nice. Not to be deceived by the photos- my ocean view wasn’t quite what I expected but beyond the unpleasant view, the housekeeping staff continued to ensure my needs were tended to. The choice of food at the buffet was delicious. I dined in the Elite restaurant for a friend’s birthday dinner; while it was nice, there were better options on the buffet however the small, intimate ambiance was nice. Overall with regards to the location, the service and the competitive rates- I’d definitely return.

The hotel is supposed to be adults only but there were toddlers in the beach area. I was not able to have dinner one evening, as the restaurants are first-come-first-serve and apparently even the buffet-style Italian restaurant was “at capacity” at 6:30pm, so I went to bed hungry. At another restaurant (the steakhouse) two women seem to knew the hostess and she made a reservation for them for the next day, which I was specifically told was not possible. The food was pretty bad. Never have I ever thought that mahi mahi can be tough to chew but they somehow made it possible. Check-in was understaffed, considering they are also very slow. Wifi was spotty. There was no wifi on one of the evenings, which made opening up QR codes for the menus impossible. Water pressure in was extremely weak, not only in the shower and sink, but also the toilet. Despite flushing for 15 minutes the toilet never fully flushed and waste kept coming back up. The hotel itself is dated and in need of renovation. I asked for late checkout. They told me I have to go at 7am the day-of. I did and they only gave me 1 hr extension for which they charged me $15 per hour. This has never happened to me before. I spoke to several people who said they had stayed here regularly but won’t be coming back again, so it seems it was a universal experience. I will not be going to RIU properties again. All-in-all, this place seems to be nickeling and diming for food, towels, checkout, everything.

beach was good -- did not like the elite hierarchy. The Krystal was not knowledgeable about wines. Did not like CR codes at the table - requiring a need to turn on phone. KEEP PAPER on menus, room reference material. You are going too digital for my tastes

Not a great experience. Upon arrival to first room, dirty sheets, dirty tub, air conditioner it working. Staff was accommodating and did move rooms, but rooms were not updated, dirty, and even in new room door hinge was broken. Food was great, elite package was with it.

This is a great vacation option. All inclusive resort. Beach access . Great for couples and singles young and age- less. The Staff is excellent. The attention to detail and the customers needs is an art that most facilities miss. Great job RUI. This is our 2nd property ( last was Cabo was the last one). ARUBA Antillas , you owe me nothing! GREAT TIME.

Everything was wonderful!!! We were there over my birthday and I was surprised to receive birthday balloons in our room when I returned from the beach! Every single staff member we interacted with had a welcoming smile and were eager to help us with whatever we required. The room was spacious and spotless...the food amazing. Once we figured out the "Pool Towel Situation" we were always able to find a chair at the pool or on the beach. I look forward to another trip to one of your other locations in the future...Keep up the good work!!!

Me and my husband stayed here for 4 days to celebrate 20 yrs together and it was great. At first we was given a room I did not reserve(no ocean view and double beds but when we went downstairs we were able to be changed immediately to the correct room which had both. It was tedious having to return to the front desk to replace our room keys because they cannot be placed next to a phone or credit card which is hard to do when leaving for excursions everyday like we did so keep that in mind. The room was cleaned promptly when we left the correction on the door and the bed was possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a hotel (and I am picky about mattresses and pillows). The staff was very pleasant, the food was good although the main restaurant had a policy to wait to be seated, then get your food. Most ppl were under the premonition that a waitress would take their order but soon realized by watching others that they need to get their own food instead. I think they need to do a better job of implementing that protocol. The only 2 cons of our vacation was the water down drinks (you will not be buzzed … at all and there were a lot of flies by the cabana (Love Island-like) seating area so that was an area we didn’t relax in. Otherwise the hotel stayed clean, smelled great and staff (waitresses, cooks, cleaners, store clerks) were all very pleasant ppl. We plan to revisit in April, however staying at the family resort, to take our daughter during her spring recess!

Spacious modern bathroom. Love the quietness of the toilet, no drip sounds and quick flush) Nice water flow in the shower although I did wish there was more of a tilt to the showerhead.
Loooved the bed $ pillow support. Was soft but firm. Thicker blanket was kept in the closet which was needed throughout the night.
