ROOM 201 - RAMADA INN - 7150 N TAMIAMI TRAIL - SARASOTA FL 34243 - NEWLY REFURBISHED MAY 2014 - This is a privately-owned hotel room at A MAJOR HOTEL - Sarasota. It has a New king size bed with new 47 inch led flat screen television with full cable and HBO. Full bathroom with bath/shower. Microwave and small refrigerator. Tiki Bar nearby has great seating near the heated pool and Marina. Close to the airport and shopping/restaurants including one on premesis. NEW FURNITURE - BED - 47 INCH LED TV This is a hotel room, It is meant for short term stays. In the slower season, May thru November, longer stays may be appropriate with discounted weekly or monthly rates. PLEASE - NO SMOKING NO PETS Are ALLOWED IN THE ROOM (HOTEL POLICY - $250 PENALTY APPLIES) hotel breakfast is not available, but Crager’s restaurant next door gives a 10% discount for condo guests.

Since I arrived earlier than my checkin time I waited outside the Ramada office with my ebike 2 back packs and beach chair to start my 1 week vacation from the out of state north where I live..I got approached by a nasty Ramada employee that accused me of being homeless telling me to get off the property while I was trying to show him my booking on my phone and he refused to hear me out and I told him I'm waiting to hear from the Vrbo host where I booked it through and I also had explained it to the Ramada front desk girl but because of one nasty non-negotiable employee that ruined it all I think Ramada should consider if they want an employee like him or if they want repeat customers..

We had some issues with our room and they handled them right away with no hassle. Staff was courteous. Room was clean and well kept. I am one that is always looking for a bargain but want it to be clean and this fit the bill on both.

I loved the location, the hotel has cool amenities. There’s a vacation vibe, beautiful view from the room of the Marina, pool, Tiki bar and gaming through the lobby. The room was fine especially for the price. 5 star bed! Nice clean sheets, comfy pillows, comfy chair, tv that has all the streaming services. Very cold air conditioning. Only negative was a sour smell coming from the air conditioner.

Room was nicely located on a corner overlooking boats, dock and pool but looked like an ordinary hotel room with one updated recliner chair. Would suggest adding a more homey feel. Got grossed out seeing people eating at the pool and trash left around. Too many kids!! Tiki bar had music on the weekend but lots of smokers. Probably would be nice to go when kids are in school. Pool looked tempting to go in but we wouldn’t dare after what we saw. ( no fault of Vrbo owner) Location was close to all we wanted to visit! Overall if minus the crowdedness, 9.
