The location was great in a nice neighborhood that was VERY quiet at night. The 5 bedrooms were plenty spacious and the common areas and kitchen were clean and very nice. The air conditioning worked great. The reason for the 3 stars was: 1 star lost because the listing mentioned a hot tub and only a couple of days before arrival were we told that the hot tub was not working (based on the condition of it, it did not seem like it was recent that it broke). One reason we had chosen this property was for the hot tub. Another star was lost due to large amounts of deferred maintenance: one toilet was very loose/disconnected from the floor; there were 20 dime-sized spots of mold growing on one bathroom ceiling because the vent fan wasn't working; the other bathroom had a light switch that wouldn't turn off; a couple door knobs needed screws tightened; the backyard door "lock" was worn out to the point that it wasn't truly functional (so someone could just push the door inward from outside and come in); the front porch light was out. It would be 5 stars and we'd stay again with those items addressed.Additionally, the hallway floor was so creaky that I actually put little pieces of masking tape down on the least creaky spots so that we wouldn't wake up our kids as we walked down the hall. A few recommendations would be to add towel bars in the bathrooms (there is room for them), provide small fans for each bedroom (for white noise purposes), and provide extra blankets.
