"I went to this Resort with my 3 kids 7,9,11 and my elderly father. Stayed in a Hacienda Room, it was enough space. Only thing that can be better is the buffet, food was just okay. The other dining options better food. Overall, fantastic in all areas, staff are friendly, passionate, the place felt safe, clean and many options for kids throughout."

"Property is excellent. Snorkeling directly from the beach in both paid access (turtle viewing) and free areas. Service was fantastic at all times. Food was very good overall, with Italian and the Steakhouse as standout options. Jungle areas in center of the resort make navigation around the resort a memorable experience, easy to get lost and explore new places! It’s sort of a running joke amongst guests that everyone seems to be lost while navigating the resort. Main lobby bar is the only letdown at this property. Seating at the bar top was limited to four stools, however several other seating options were available in the area. Due to bar being open to outside and lack of fans or A/C in the bar it was very hot most nights. Bar staff had resorted to using floor drying fans to cool themselves and one of the fans being used was extremely noisy taking away from the high end feel of the rest of this resort. We instead chose to spend or evenings at the outdoor sports bar were ceiling fans and a cross breeze kept everyone cool while enjoying their after hours cocktails. Special call out to Brandom from the entertainment group and Alan from the bar team both were fantastic and made the trip memorable "

"I did quite a bit of research prior to booking our trip to Unico 2087. I had visited Mexico before at another resort and had excellent service, but felt that the food experience was lacking and had a hard time sleeping because it was so hot in my room. The reviews and research pointed me to Unico and I’m glad I did my homework. The check in process was great, we were sat on a couch and given drinks while we were being checked in. We were approached for a timeshare “breakfast” but simply said we weren’t interested, when gently asked if there was any reason we reiterated that we weren’t interested and that was the end of the pitch. We had arrived early and our room wasn’t quite ready yet, but our local host Axel showed us around and explained the property and amenities. He asked us about lunch and what we were craving, and recommended the 2087 grill. He walked us to the restaurant and checked us in. After eating lunch our room was ready. We were walked to our room and shown around. The property and our room was beautiful, welcoming and clean. We at at every restaurant with the exception of the new French restaurant Avic. The food was absolutely incredible, our favorite was Mura House (Asian). Our waitress Gabby is a gem, very personable and accommodating. Jesus, Mattias and Louis provided excellent service at the pool and Joshua had our cabana ready each morning with towels and towel pillows. Our experience was excellent and I cannot wait to return. "
