Room needed an upgrade, furniture looked old. With the cost of the room and resort fees, they could of giving us an updated room. Hyatt is loosing their touch. They used to welcome you(if you're a repeat customer)with a lei. Now you have to buy it from a vending machine. I will not patronize this establishment again. I'll wait for the new Hilton.

Booked a high floor ocean view room for our honeymoon. Upon arrival, the staff said our room had “complications”. They said some kids clogged the toilet and it wouldn’t be ready until the next week. So they tried putting on us on a low floor room, which was clearly cheaper than what we paid for. So we complained and got a high floor room that wasn’t ocean view. Wouldn’t recommended this hotel to anyone

This hotel is in the best/most convenient area. Super walkable, the beach right across the street, super walkable, lots of food options on the main street in front of the hotel as well as 2 blocks behind the hotel on another main road. The hotel itself is pretty amazing and huge! The room is was sooo big and the view from the room was great. In one direction you could see the ocean/beach and the other direction you was city, and trees and mountains. The hotel has different food and shopping options. There is a pool that I didn’t use, since the beach is across the street but you are able to get towels from a vending machine, that you need to return the towels. They have a chip of some sort and when you return them, the machine somehow reads the chip and tells you the return was process. You can borrow a beach chair for free from the pool desk and just need to return it by 9pm to not be charged for it. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will hopefully be returning in the very near future!
