Beautiful 4 bedroom Lakehouse on a deep water cove on Lake Greenwood.

This beautiful lake house on Lake Greenwood boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, hardwood floors and an open living area with a wall of windows facing the lake. It has a spacious great room with a stone fireplace and gas logs. There is one bedroom and bath on the main level. Two bedrooms and bath on the second level and one bedroom and bath on the basement level. It has a large wraparound deck that overlooks the lake and has a walkout basement with a bedroom, bathroom, second kitchen and open game room with a ping pong table, 50" flat screen TV, foosball table and dining area. The lower patio has a Gas Weber Grill for those family barbeques. You can relax while the food is grilling with a beautiful view of the lake. The patio also has a picnic table for those outdoors dining experiences. Two 12 foot Old Town Loon Kayaks are available to renters for a scenic cruise around the lake. One of the kayaks is a fishing kayak if there is a fisherman in your group. The property is located only 9 miles from the state park and 15 minutes from downtown Greenwood. There is a gas station and large grocery chain less than a mile from the lake house for added convenience. We are also located near 5 golf courses to challenge the golfers in the group.

As you may already be aware from our reviews, we are known for having a sparkling clean lake house. For your safety, we have put into place additional cleaning and disinfecting.

Our dock is well suited if you want to bring your own boat and tie up during your stay. We have doc cleats and bumpers on one side of the dock.

Everything was in excellent shape. We rented a boat for the weekend and went for ride and swimming several times. Used public boat launch and enjoyed the restaurant. Had a great time visiting with family on the huge deck overlooking the water. We would stay there again. Great dealing with owners.

Very nice home with access to plenty of lake fun. A dock on deep water that the kids had a blast jumping off of all week. There's a swing with an overhead fan that made those hot summer days cooler. Dock your own boat or get a rental nearby. Pull a tube or jet ski then stop at one of the several lake side restaurants for a meal. The home is clean with a beautiful view of the lake from inside through the large windows or outside on the deck in comfortable chairs. The home layout is perfect for each family to have their own space in three separate levels with full baths on all. The main level has lots of room for all to relax in front of the TV or eating dinner and playing games on the large and beautiful dining table. There are a lot of steps down to the lake so the weak and elderly may struggle with that.

Exceeded expectations!Words don't do justice to the experience we enjoyed at "Water's Edge" - this lakehouse is AWESOME! The house is BIG (3 levels means lots of space for extended families). There is so much to do onsite (the dock, kayaks, basketball, ping pong, relaxing, grilling, TONS of board games and yard games too). And the location is great because it's on the same side as Greenwood proper (which means easy access to Publix, Chickfila, Outback, The Mall, and more). We enjoyed the dock most of all - just relaxing on the porch swing or chairs on the dock and floating in the water listening to some music was exactly what we were looking for. We also cooked family dinners at night, baked cookies, had Ping Pong Championships, caught a couple fish, and even had a 3-generation Monopoly game which was a blast. Watching a scary movie together was exciting. Outside the home we rented a boat from Skippers, hiked the Lake Greenwood State Park and isited the 96 Historical Site. In short, our family vacation was FANTASTIC and Water's Edge was a big reason why. The hosts Randy and Cathy were very responsive and friendly and I was amazed at how well stocked the property was - literally every thing we could have needed for our stay was already provided for us. Clearly Randy and Cathy care about the experience of their guests and their love of Waters Edge is evident. The keepsake coffee mug was an unexpected surprise! We look forward to staying at Water's Edge again! Thanks :)

No rest for the weary

Beds were absolutely not comfortable. This is subjective, of course as everyone has a different take on what a "comfortable bed" is. A king bed in the master would have been nice, but we knew it was a queen going in. This is just a suggestion.Pots and pans were heavily used and old, but worked for our purpose. Overall, fairly well stocked with everything else we needed. Unfortunately, no one on the trip slept well.
