Stayed in Standard Room Valentines Weekend. Clean room, friendly staff and comfortable bed. They do charge an extra $5 per night for parking. Biggest complaint with the room was a very small bathroom. The toilet was (no joke) 2 inches from the tub which made it very awkward. Probably going to stay elsewhere next time

The walls were chipped with paint. It was very old and outdated and looked nothing like the pictures. There was a stink bug on the AC unit the whole stay. The first morning we only got clean towels, but they didn’t take away the dirty towels. The second day we didn’t even get new clean towels. No one offered to bring us new towels, we had to walk up a hill in the cold to get them. Our safe did not work, so all valuable have to be taken with us each day and stored in our car. Overall, very unsatisfied with my stay, will not be returning, and will not be recommending.

Rooms are spacious and clean. We had some minor plumbing problems and they were fixed immediately. The breakfast was great, however I wish it had been available before 8am. We were not expecting the $5 per night, per vehicle parking fee.

This property is amazing. I have been staying here since the 1980s. Each room has a private balcony that overlooks Roaring Fork Creek. The ladies at check-in and check-out were great. If you ever wanted a place just a short walk from the parkway, give this lodge a chance.
