Black Bear Falls Surprise

We had a great stay at Woodlands Lodge. Enjoyed all the house had to offer. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Found out why the trash is locked when a Black Bear came by at dusk. Beautiful setting with great views of the mountains.

Nice place for the family!

Our family stayed at the Woodland Lodge for our daughter’s wedding in the Glades. Great location…cabin was clean and spacious enough for kids to play and adults to relax. Nice quiet, secluded neighborhood….but easy access to nearby amenities.

Perfect Stay

The cabin was as advertised. Clean, and in a location easy to access from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Stay outside of Gatlinburg Center

My family and I stayed in this cabin for New Years and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Beautiful and so comfortable for our whole family. Lovely and quiet neighborhood, with beautiful views off the wrap around deck. Perfect for coffee in the mornings. Beds comfortable and 3 full baths which was perfect for our family. Just a quick drive to the nearest grocery store and to downtown Gatlinburg.

Wonderful experience!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The cabin was nestled in a serene, wooded area, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The cabin was spotless, with fresh linens and well-maintained amenities. We loved cooking meals in the spacious kitchen, which had everything we needed. Cozy Atmosphere. The fireplace made our evenings extra special, and the rustic decor added a charming touch. The wraparound deck and hot tub were perfect for relaxing while enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature. Only a short drive to nearby hiking trails and local attractions, yet remote enough to feel completely disconnected from the hustle and bustle. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat. We’re already planning our return trip!

Thanksgiving Holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday in this beautiful cabin. We cooked our Thanksgiving dinner here and really had a great family time together. We definitely recommend this cabin and the host communicated every detail we needed to feel right at home.

Looking forward to our next visit

This was our second visit this year and it did not disappoint- we don’t stay anywhere else when in Gatlinburg. The owners must have recently renovated the cabin again- we were pleasantly surprised by all the new furniture, bed covers, and rugs. The location is perfect- just 5-7 min to downtown or the national park. Thank you for always making our trip!

Beautiful Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was very clean and welcoming. Our family got to experience the local bears every day walking around the cabin and throughout the area. The host was very nice and quick to respond to our inquiries. Highly recommend stay here!

Great Homebase for Family Vacay

Our family of 7 (2 parents, 2 girls ages 16 & 15, 3 boys ages 13, 12 & 8) stayed here during our late July trip to Smoky Mountain National Park. It was a great layout for our family, the hot tub was nice, the kitchen had what we needed to prep food for breakfast and lunch so we could picnic in the park. We dined out each night and also were able to door dash dessert. My husband and son saw a bear while they were sitting in the hot tub. Really cool (felt very safe). Would highly recommend!

Great place to stay, location is great as well!

House was very clean, kitchen had everything you need for a one week stay (plates, coffee mugs, cups and cookware). Beds were comfortable, Hot tub was nice! Plenty of space for a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 teens). Location is within minutes of hitting the main strip in Gatlinburg for Entertainment. If you leave around 10am or earlier not much traffic going to Gatlinburg. But around 12pm and later, traffic could be an issue. We would stay there again if we make another trip to Gatlinburg.

Amazing place for large groups

We chose this cabin based on the size as we got married in Tennessee and wanted to host our few family members for after the wedding. The cabin was immaculate and so very pretty. The bed was amazing! I don’t think I’ve slept that good in a while! It was secluded enough but not far from town and our wedding location! We had the best time and many memories! Thank you!!

Fantastic cabin for our family trip

Yearly, we travel to Gatlinburg with the whole family and stay in Black Bear Falls. Throughout the years we have had mixed experiences. This one, however, tops everything we have ever done. This cabin is clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Everything is there to have a good time. The beds and mattresses are amazing. All the furniture looks brand new. Smart TV's everywhere. Hot tubs etc., It's all there. The owners were very communicative and responsive. We did not have any issues whatsoever. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful! PERFECT for Families!

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation! So close to everything and had all the amenities you need for family fun! The cabin has been updated and you can tell a lot of thought went into making it a fun and cozy home. We didn't want to leave! The main living space was perfect to hang out in after dinner and play cards at the large table. All of the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. And the kids in our group LOVED the downstairs game room. Its a TEN! We will be back!

Perfect Gatlinburg retreat!

Our stay at this log home made our entire trip. Location and community is perfect with a fantastic pool and ponds with ducks. We sat on the porch and listened to trickling water from the streams nightly. The home is thoughtfully decorated with “cozy and comfort” in mind. Beds are so very comfortable! Layout is ideal with a bedroom and full bathroom on each level. We will definitely return and highly recommend for others.
