Bayou Paradise Lodge 3bed 2Bath Bunk Delacroix Fish Camp sleep 2-24 w/cargo lift

Perfect for large families and groups. There are 15 different bedding units in the property. Updated furniture. Wi Fi Internet. Use your personal streaming service for tv. Surround sound for tv and indoor and outdoor stereo system. Large porch for relaxing and watching the boats go by. Or fish off the dock located within 50 feet. Local charters or personal boats welcome. Board games and corn hole set on site.
Cargo Elevator installed January 2023.

Boat launch is just 1/2 mile from house. $10-$15 fee I believe.
You are welcome to use a boat slip at our dock. Just be mindful of the professional charter guides that also share the space.

In the event of a verified weather evacuation, even within the 14/7-day VRBO cancellation policy, we will work with you to find dates to reschedule.

Rental Policy/Rules:
Please look over property as soon as you arrive and notify me or photograph any issues you see. Likewise, we understand that things happen.... please notify me if anything gets broken or misplaced during your stay.
Do not jump off the docks and do not swim in the Bayou. There are alligators and the current can be swift at times.
Do not tamper with or remove batteries from any smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. Please contact me immediately if one seems to be faulty.
Do not tamper with the fire extinguishers. There is one located under the kitchen cabinet and one in the laundry room. If one is used for any reason, please notify me.
Do not ride on the cargo lift. Please keep the gate closed at all times.
Please ensure that the grill is cooled and cleaned prior to check out and that the grill cover is in place.

Catching Fish With Family

The property has a home like feel to it. Very roomy and comfortable. We had 11 people in our party and never felt cramped. The front porch has plenty of room for large groups and a great view of the marsh with the New Orleans city skyline in the background. We chartered 3 boats for our fishing trip. Everyone was very satisfied with the boats and captain. Each boat caught their limit. The boat/captains pick us up from property dock located across the street from the cabin. Once we returned from our catching experience the captains cleaned and bagged out catch. We were able to purchase some fresh shrimp and blue crabs from a seafood marked very close to the cabin. We boiled the shrimp/crabs on cabin dock. Great Family Catching experience.

Guys weekend

This was a great location for a guys weekend fishing trip! We were able to catch our charter trip right off the dock across the street. Beds were comfortable and the place have of everything we needed to have a great time. Also the owner was very helpful with any questions I had and I would happily stay here again!

The absolute worst

First let me start by saying….. last year this property was perfect! However, THIS YEAR/2024 , it was the worst property I have ever stepped foot on. When we arrived & headed up the stairs there was animal poop everywhere leading to the front door, the porch was a mess….broken fans, dirty grill. Once we entered the home there was an odor that took our breath away, the ENTIRE HOME WAS FILTHY!!!! Beds not made, dirty sheets, mold in the showers, shower curtains down, empty toilet paper rolls, refrigerator stored with leftover Togo boxes, stove & dishwasher filthy, trash under beds…. AC not working…. Owner Sasha stopped responding!!!! I could go on, but this would be a chapter book!!! Stay away from this property!!!!

Amazing Getaway on the Bayou

this is the second time we have stayed at this property and love it. easy access to marinas, great for kids, and boat launches/dock with lifts make it ideal for getting out and wetting a line

Our trip south was mainly to visit Zoo & Aquarium in New Orleans, but we had more fun at the camp fishing and relaxing. This is a great camp and a great safe location. People there are super friendly. 5 star camp for sure!

Absolute amazing camp! Had the family’s down while fishing a local redfish tournament. 10/10 booked it again for the follow up in July. Amenities are second to non- boat slip, lift, and bunk beds made everything a breeze with the littles.
