"Being absolutely right on a reef beach with waves crashing all around you was amazing. Such Proximity to the ocean, means upkeep is very difficult. The balcony, roofs are very weathered but surviving. Our beautiful view was of waves crashing less than 5 feet away. The place is older but it was super clean and comfortable. People working there, amazing and friendly. You get the ocean crashing on the reef all night long that can lull you to sleep or keep you awake- your call. An other worldy experience. Best beach is a walk on a very busy road away."

"My husband recently stayed at Buen Café Parador. His room was in one of the village-style little houses rather than the main hotel building. The first night was difficult because the room was close to the village area, and it was very noisy, making it hard for him to sleep. The next morning, he spoke with the receptionist, who was very helpful and moved him to one of the village houses located toward the back of the property. After the room change, everything was great. The new room was much quieter, comfortable, and he had a very pleasant stay. We really appreciated how quickly the staff resolved the issue. If you're staying in the village houses and are a light sleeper, I recommend requesting one of the rooms in the back."
