Don’t stay here. Nice rooms but no overnight cleaning staff- I had a kid get sick and they handed me garbage bags and gloves. Tv menu didn’t work so we had about 12 channels with commercials.

We had a great stay at the hotel for our first time in Chicago! It’s such a convenient location and our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff was the best part! They were so friendly and helpful with anything that we needed! I would recommend this hotel!

The fact that we have stayed at the Silversmith at least a half dozen times should speak for itself - you do not return to a bad experience. We recognize many of the staff from our previous visits, and more important, they treat us like guests not customers. You can get a cookie cutter stay from any chain, but it takes a special place like the Silversmith to make the stay more than just a place to sleep. The location of the hotel was the original selling point, conveniently located in the loop, with many of the places we wanted to go within walking distance, but it is the staff at the hotel that makes it the place we make a point of returning to, not looking anywhere else.
