"This hotel was so clean! The pool area was very clean and so fun for our kids. The breakfast was great, lots of options. "

"Room has been refurnished and updated, specially the bathroom. Water pressure is awesome, toiletries provided. The layout is spacious and functional. Everything you need for a short or medium term stay. Staff was corteous, quick and diligent. There is really not a hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, porridge, or that sort of things) but some frozen waffles and bread to toast among the typical cold dry items. The breakfast area consists of 2 long comunal tables which are cramming all the lobby/check in area. They have a tiny sauna but we didn’t use it, also visible from the check in area. The surroundings are well kept, great to walk your dog, they have a pet station too. It’s not an area to be walking into places, just a Perkins a block away, but there are grocery stores, breweries, and restaurants you can drive to within 1-2 miles radius. Also downtown Duluth is a good 5-6 mile drive, just need to watch out for all the road closures and potholes. "

"The staff during our visit was exceptional!! Very helpful and accommodating. Fresh coffee was available at 3pm , which is unusual for hotels. Once again, I can't say enough good things about the staff. "
