| OUTDOORS |
Start your day with coffee on the front balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the historic Boardwalk.

If you are looking for a great central apartment with its own unique designer style only minutes from Atlantic City’s best casinos, restaurants and white sandy beaches – look no further for your next getaway to “America's Playground.”

Guest Access:
Guests have private access to the entire apartment and outdoor areas as well as free Wi-Fi, complimentary coffee, and access to your own streaming apps on the Smart TV. We also have an outdoor shower and shared basement with access from the street.

The Neighborhood:
One of the most famous cities on the New Jersey Coast, Atlantic City is known for its iconic Boardwalk, sandy beaches (free! no beach badges required) and glamorous casinos and with the house in such a great location you are only ever a short walk away from all the action.

Our specific neighborhood is Chelsea, considered to be the most upscale neighborhood in the city with high-end historic homes abound.

Atlantic City is an entertainment-centric town with attractions for everyone. The city attracts big-name stars who regularly appear at its many hotels and theaters. You’ll also find great local acts at beachside venues and local music joints like Anchor Rock Club and Bourre.

Enjoy a bite or a drink at Ryfe Bar & Restaurant (3 blocks away) or discover Atlantic City institutions like Dock’s Oyster House (1 mile drive) and Knife & Fork Inn (~8 blocks away).

Relax on the beach with one of our beach chairs while the kids dig in the sand and enjoy a dip in the water, take surfing lessons, or keep your kids entertained for hours at one of the city’s many arcades (the largest of which is Lucky Snake inside Showboat). Then dine out with countless restaurants, cafes and bars, many of which are within a short walk from the house.

Leave the car behind and stroll to the many glamorous casinos nearby along the boardwalk with many more attractions and things to see and do in AC all close by:

The Boardwalk – Runs less than one block from the house and goes all the way to the main strip
Tropicana (the closest casino to our house) - 15 min walk along the Boardwalk / 4 min drive
Ocean Casino Resort – 13 min drive
Hard Rock Casino Hotel – 12 min drive
Steel Pier – Rides and Carnival Games – 11 min drive
Atlantic City Aquarium – 12 min drive
Bungalow Beach Bar – 18 min walk
The famous Borgata Casino – 10 min drive
Bally’s Casino – 9 min drive
Tanger Outlets – 7 min drive

Whether you love music and dance or you're a history and culture fan, you'll be enchanted by Atlantic City and its never ending entertainment or if relaxing is more your thing, spend your time at the beach, just 5 minutes away or simply unwind sitting out on your own private deck– what could be better!

Getting Around:
The best way to get around in Atlantic City is on your own two feet with most attractions within walking distance of one another.

If you're worn out from walking, you can hop on the AC's Jitney minibuses which are inexpensive and run 24 hours a day (for a $2.25 cash fare). The minibuses operate along Atlantic & Pacific Avenue and make stops at casinos and major attractions in the city, including along Pacific Ave right near our house.

For a more historic mode of transport, you can opt to be pushed along the boardwalk in a shaded rolling chair to see the sights from a different perspective – operators charge by the block, with a minimum fare of $5.

You can also use ride sharing apps like Uber/Lyft or call a taxi with cars available anytime of the day, or bring along your own car with free or inexpensive street parking available throughout much of the city.

Other Things to Note:
1) Pets are welcome for an additional pet fee. Please include them in the Guest Count of your search, and let us know.
2) There is one Smart TV in the living room and there are TVs in two of the bedrooms. Please note that we do not have cable TV.
3) In an effort to combat noise concerns and out of consideration for our neighbors, we have noise sensors installed at the property to monitor noise levels. We do not record audio of any type. This is strictly to ensure that noise does not eclipse a reasonable level, particularly in the evening hours. All we receive is a time-stamped decibel reading. You should have nothing to worry about as long as you're not engaging in excessive partying.
4) Please note that per Atlantic City's rules, we are not permitted to rent to groups under the age of 21.
5) Please note that this listing is one of (3) apartments in the building, and, similar to a hotel, noise can travel within the building.
6) Please also note that while fully renovated and modernized, the home was built over 100 years ago, so it may have some quirks to embrace.
7) This unit is on the third level, with about (8) steps up from the street to access the entrance, and two flights of stairs inside the building to reach the 3rd floor.

Interaction with Guests:
We strive to make sure your time at the house is relaxing and enjoyable and are always available during your stay if there are any questions or for any recommendations on what to do and see in the area.

Decent Stay for the

The place pretty much was as advertised, but you have to really comb through the long description and check-in dissertation to find out more info.Parking: AC only offers 3hr parking limits in most places, and the closest full-time parking to this condo is over 5 blocks away at Stockton College parking garage (15/day). Not terrible unless you need to constantly shlep things back and forth from your car because it's difficult to maneuver items up and down the 3 flights of stairs (which are called out) to the condo.Neighborhood: Definitely in a nicer area outside the hustle and bustle of downtown AC, and the beach access right at this place is great with such a small crowd. That can't be beat especially for the price! Renter beware though - all the neighbors, including the high-rise across the street, were extremely rude to us renters. Due to the parking situation (see above) it was near impossible to unload/load easily and everyone around us was not happy we were there (maybe don't buy a condo in AC if you don't want renters there...lol!). It was off-putting, but oh well we'll never see those people again. The unit: Definitely as advertised. Old building and some of the walls/ceiling were falling apart. Has a great rustic charm with some updated amenities. The a/c took quite a while to cool down but it was blowing. Beware there are street/building lights that shine brightly through the back two main bedrooms ALL NIGHT, no matter how you tilt the blinds.

Getaway

The listing had parking but on check in found out it’s street parking or a garage a few blocks away (just over 1/4 mile). The thermostat kept turning down and at night dropped to 62. We were there for the ocean view and that didn’t disappoint.

Would like to say that the place itself was nice but it was a few things that made the stay very uncomfortable…. First of all the sink was full of old bad water that would not drain at all and it smelled so bad…. the heat did not work in some of the rooms so it was cold in some rooms…each bathroom only had quarter rolls of toilet paper and kitchen had no paper towels at all… I tried to contact host several times and never answered until te last day and that did not help

Great property; steps from the beach

We enjoyed our stay. The place was beautiful and the proximity to the beach amazing. The property looked just like the pictures and was very clean. Ryan was very responsive. Two issues it would be helpful for others to understand before booking: (1) We stayed on the third floor, which has great ocean views from the balcony. However, it is a walk up, which could be problematic for some, especially if climbing stairs is a physical challenge. (2) Also, it is street parking, which, at times, was a challenge. We did have the use of two resident parking passing, which helped, but depending on day of week and time of day, we had to park very far away. More of an annoyance for us, but for a person with mobility issues it could be a very big deal. Perhaps less of an issue during less busy seasons. We enjoyed our stay.

Very Nice. Late check-in tough!

We LOVED the property. Such a beautiful space. Looks just like VRBO pics. Clean and spacious. Extra guest on balcony (nesting pigeon) kinda made that area off limits. 4PM check-in was tough. Didn't allow much time to enjoy on first day. Parking is tricky.
