Courtney responded immediately to a question we had, and she was so kind. It’s hard to leave such a beautiful place. We look forward to a return visit and a longer stay one day soon. "We stayed at this property 10 years ago and were delighted to pay another visit. We love these mesas and this particular location is a stunner. The well-designed two-part residence is great for two couples with different schedules. There were lots of condiments and pantry items from previous guests (though one would have to guess about the age of some of them). Some correctable issues: I had to ask for entry instructions with less than 48 hrs before our arrival. There was no manual with instructions for TV, things to do, checkout info. The kitchen appeared clean, but roaches ate through plastic bags of dry goods leaving lots of poop all over. Battery-operated things (DVD player, window shades) had dead batteries (none on site); a bedside light needed a new bulb; working the lock on the French doors was hit and miss; no basic tools to make small fixes; one of the mattresses in the twin bed room is totally shot. The worst thing was that the interior doorknob to the bedroom was sitting on the counter inside the door. The first person in closed the door and couldn't get out without someone opening it from the outside (fortunately we didn't all go in together!). We had to tape the latch in so it wouldn't engage, and then keep locking and unlocking the door so the wind didn't blow it open.Clearly the knob hadn't worked in a while, and the last person who left the house would have known it was inside and unattached to the door. Very hard to understand why this hadn't been fixed."
