Friendly staff. The place has a vintage, quaint vibe, using local adobe-style architecture. There's a bar and a food truck that serves breakfast and dinner.
The rooms are well-appointed and quiet, and the property grounds are beautiful with many sitting areas around gardens, fountains and mature trees. It is an incredible oasis along historic Route 66, minutes away from all the cultural sites and restaurants.
El Rey Court is one of those special places you just happen across on occassion. This was just a one night stay during a road trip, and it's a gem. The grounds are beautiful and the people working in the food truck were amazing. It was a nostalgic experience for me, and whenever I'm in, or going through Santa Fe again, this is where I'll be.
