When we checked in, no staff were at the front desk. I had to use a tablet to register myself and even had to reach over the counter to grab a blank plastic room key to scan for myself. It was very odd. The hotels stark decor with red and black looked very unappealing. The room itself looked run down and had things that looked worn out or scuffed in the bathroom. The breakfast area was tiny and uncomfortable, with only a few tables. The food was good but there were very few items to choose from.

Sheets and pillow cases stained, Bathroom had plumbing issues I would flush the toilet and when I stepped on the tile water would come out of the tile...I spoke to front deak and their solution was to charge me a cancellation fee it was the night of I had no where else to go otherwise I would have gladly left...and for 180 dollars a night its a ripoff....I have videos and pictures which I will upload as a goohle review...Nasty place and honestly if it were just me I wouldnt have cared but I was with my wife and daughter and felt so powerless

It was all pretty good except for Glass table in front of the couch had rings on it. it hadn't been cleaned. and the only other thing was the fact that I could not get the coffee machine to work that could have been me.Otherwise a pleasant experience.

The hotel seemed to be newly renovated. The room was clean, the parking was lit well. The office was in the middle of the hotel & a tall fence provided protection where people access their cars & register. The TV offered many good channels. This is the first hotel I've stayed at to serve 1/2 size breakfast burritos - more than enough. One will need to drive several miles to the Santa Fe Old Plaza. The only concerns I had were either a pillow or the bed top smelled of oily hair product. And, the sink faucet was hard to turn-on for water. The bathtub bottom at the back had a cracking noise when one stepped on it. These are minor things compared to the excellent room & hotel service one receives staying at Coyote South. I'd recommend this hotel and would stay there again! A satisfied customer!

My experience here for 3 nights was horrible. The first room given to us was filthy. It had crumbs on the carpet and in the drawers. Not to mention the stained towels and bedding too. The room also had a broken window that had broken glass protruding out and could cut anyone at any point. When addressing my concerns to the hotel staff, Robin was dismissive and very rude. The next morning I asked to move rooms again and the guy at the desk finally was able to get me another room, but sadly it wasn’t any better. There were stains on the bedding and towels, the window was still broken (minus the broken glass this time). Also, upon using the ice machine I discovered mold at the bottom of the container when the ice melted. I got very ill from this and was not taken care of by staff or even compensated for this horrible experience. I highly would not recommend this hotel, as my stay at Motel 6 was 1,000 times better than whatever you even want to call this place.

No shower curtain or plug for the bathtub, room was not cleaned during our stay, tried to get bath towels and had to wait awhile because there was no desk clerk. Fitted sheets did not appropriately fit the beds and kept sliding off to reveal very stained mattresses. Light bulbs flickered nonstop. It was a hot mess.

The breakfast was outstanding--homemade breakfast burritos. They were absolutely delicious, Room was all updated nicely as was the lobby and hallways. Very happy with this hotel. Very good access to DT Santa Fe as well as to the interstate.

Staff were kind, courteous, and friendly. They always extend help whenever possible. Excellent burrito breakfast which you don't always find in other establishments...something different!!! Although the room was small, it was clean, comfortable, and had a good restful stay. Unfortunately, some guest can't control their dog from barking.

Horrible noise, impossible to sleep; this is a very basic motel. One can tell that it was somehow semi (VERY emphatic 'semi') remodeled at some point, but there are holes everywhere, almost no outlets, etc. My friend paid more than me for my room and his room was smaller and worse overall. This hotel appears to be a little scam-like. Still waiting for security deposit to be credited.

Disappointing lodging for the price. Had to change rooms 3 times in a 4 night stay, that should tell all. Unpleasant staff, zero smiles; and most of the time, no matter day or night, they are not at the front desk, where do they hide? Limited breakfast options. Rooms are older than shown in the pictures. Loud noise from the road AND people with DOGS, closing doors, walking loud... G level has views of the car tires basically. They do NOT make the rooms unless requested. They claim they mention that upon checking in, that is a LIE. I checked in with a person - not using the computer- and they did not mention anything like that. Extra fees for 'breakfast' as you check in. Why? It is included, and I verified it before I even decided to book this hotel! Still waiting for security deposit. Also, you need to check out with them or the computer, or they charge a late check out. Which hotel in America still asks you to check out? they just try to get any penny they can. For the price and area, I would have chosen Marriott or Hampton. Expedia reviews of this place are highly inflated, it is impossible that this place could be reviewed as more than an 8, impossible. A 5 is generous.
