The first night they put me in a room with no heat. They were well aware that the room had no heat and it was 40° outside. I called down to the front desk several times and was advised that Maintance would be up to look at the hest, but he never did. The following morning I was getting ready for my conference and the room was 57°. After I took a shower, I was beyond freezing and had to hurry to get to my speaking engagement. The front desk advised me that they were going to be upgrading my room when I return from my conference. When I returned from my conference, not only did they not upgrade my room, but they locked me out of my original room with all my stuff in it. When I finally got all my stuff together out of the old room, they took me to a different room that was worse than the room that I actually paid for. I told them that I had been advised this morning that I would be moved to a room with a fireplace. Throughout the entire time, the manager had two housekeepers following us around as if I was going to do something wrong. It was very uncomfortable. Finally, they moved me to a third room where the heat finally worked. When I advised the manager that both of the people who were working last night told me that that room they originally put me had no heat and they knew that when they stuck me there, I became very upset and I advised that if I became ill with pneumonia, then I would be seeking legal counsel. I will never stay at this hotel again.
