3rd Time Staying Here

Pros: A consistent level of quality throughout the hotel.
Cons: The front desk could be staffed better for quicker service, they had a company meeting at 5:00 pm.
Location: With the construction on the Paseo del Norte/ I-25 off ramps closed it was difficult to get to the hotel. Many Restaurants and Venues nearby.
As the title implies, this is the 3rd stay at the Nativo Lodge over the past year. I stayed in a room on the 5th floor that was very well appointed, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. I prepare income tax forms and use the Nativo for my stays each year for the Gear Up tax seminar. I have been consistently satisfied with all services. They have a limited menu, but the food served is at a minimum a 4 out of 5 star experience. The full bar is nice and seems to have a good variety of liquors and beers. It is comparably priced for hotels of this caliber. I was very satisfied.

Nativo lodge

Pros: location
Cons: train the staff to be professional
Location: have eye surgery
the staff gave us a hard time while checking in. often the staff were rude and when we addressed our concerns, they responded by being sassy. Nativo is on a list that the eye associates recommend for their patients to stay if they need to stay a night in albuquerque. we did not appreciate the staff being rude when we had to relax after surgery.

Cons: Cleaning needs to be improved, better training.
Although the employees were very nice and went out of their way to make things right, we were very disappointed in the lodge. First was when we arrived at 4:00 p.m. for check in and our room wasn't ready. After a two hour wait the room was not ready yet, they put us in another room. Other than clean towels each day and the beds made, the bathroom was not cleaned until four days later and three calls and visits to the main desk to get anything done. We stayed a week and we didn't expect total cleaning everyday, we felt that half way through our stay we should have had the bedding changed and the room cleaned at least once. Unfortunately I will never stay there again.

Affordable luxurious hotel.

Upon arrival the staff was friendly and helpful. They sent us a text asking for estimated time of arrival. The swimming pool is clean and strategically constructed to where half of it is indoor and the other half is outdoors. The pool is heated the water temperature is comfortable. The hotel also has a hot tub.

We arrived after 5pm and while waiting to check in we could hear the front desk turning away several people with reservations because they were short handed on maid staff. The woman at the desk attempted to tell us we would also have to wait to check in with no eta. We drove over 800 miles and have two young children. I told her that was unacceptable and she upgraded us for free to get us in a room immediately. Our room keys stopped working twice. Once after we had been in the pool and were stuck waiting in the hall soaking wet as we didn't have towels either because of their limited maid staff. At 9pm when I went to get my key fixed I over heard another guest upset that she and her children were still waiting to be aloud to check in.

Old, loud, dangerous......maid service?

Came in on a Sunday. Its now Thursday. Maid service has not been to my room one time yet. No fitted sheet on mattress, just a top sheet. Sleeping on bare mattress by morning....gross! Had to reuse towels multiple times. Electrical outlet next to bed, behind night stand, is just waiting to kill someone. When i unplugged my phone charger the outlet actually came out of the wall exposing wires...super safe! Overall the hotel is old and outdated and needs remodel. View from 4th floor room was nice. Hotel is close to I-25 and off ramp to a major street. VERY noisy at all hours. You may be asking "why didnt you complain to the staff, or ask for another room, etc?". I wanted to get the full experience to see just how bad it could be. Long story short...i will not stay here again!
