The room had a bad smell. The carpet and arm chairs were filthy. I was concerned about the lack of cleanliness in our room..we also had to carry our luggage up to the second floor... no elevator.

Loretta: Thank you for your comments, we do apologize for the elevator not working, The elevator company is waiting for the parts to come in and get it repaired we really do understand as we have to climb the stairs everyday to get housekeeping done, as for the chairs and carpets we apologize as well, we also have a company ready to come out and clean both but with out an elevator to bring up the machines it is impossible to do right now. We are sorry for the issues.

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. I’m not one to write an angry review, but she was so rude to me I almost stayed somewhere else, but I wasn’t getting my money back. So, I stayed. Definitely won’t be back! The hotel it’s self wasn’t bad, but that one women ruined my experience. If management sees this and wants to know who. I didn’t get her name but she was working the 26th of July around 6pm.

Thanks for letting us know and we well be speaking to the staff.

Check-in was good. Rooms were on the small side. Breakfast was the worst ever. No fresh fruit, ice cold egg omelet, hot water pot needs cleaning, waffle batter needed replacing, unable to understand breakfast helper due to VERY broken English. Location is ideal however.

This property was just “meh” There was honestly a dead cockroach in the elevator entrance which lead me to feel itchy and gross all night even though the room was a little better than the outside. The room was quiet though. The hotel is dark and dingy. Needs better cleaning overall. I’d recommend looking elsewhere because I’ve found better hotels in the same price point.

Dear guest: This is an all exterior property, if there are bugs outside, we can not do anything about them, we can and do in the guest rooms. We will be making upgrades to the rooms in the fall, Thanks for your comments

I didn't like that you have to leave $100.00 deposit. We paid it in cash but we had to waste 20 minutes of our vacation day to wait until they checked the room so that they would give it back. Also, I didn't like that the pool closes at 8 pm.

Dear Shell: The deposit is required from all of our guests, and we are sorry it took so long to check your room, we do have to do that as well for all guests, so it may take a couple of people are checking out with deposits it may take a few minutes, we are sorry that the pool closes at 8 pm, there has been a lot of complaints from guests that have to work, and are disturbed by the noise, so we have to take all guest needs in to consideration.
